Well ... it's been one hell of a month hasn't it? I hope everyone is safe and well (and not going too mad with kids and partners at home!). As always, referral links and new starters are welcome, think we're all going to need a boost financially over the next few months.

@AdamantEve Yes I read that yesterday. It said that it had recently changed from four weeks. If there are exceptional circumstances (holiday/maternity leave?) and you let them know then not doing that will be ok.

AdamantEve · 15/04/2020 17:18

Thanks @MrsWombat I’ve had a few emails from them this week, going to have to make sure I’ve read them all

TomTomRunner · 15/04/2020 17:49

I'm looking at doing the actual C*p exam but looking at the course, Am I right that every tiny risk needs to be flagged, just everything? Just super cautious?

SNISR · 15/04/2020 18:15

Hi, not been able to catch up on the thread, but could anyone kindly tell me what potato heads is and how to apply? I had a google and the only thing that comes up is the toy 😅
Thank you 😊

Fedupandpoor · 15/04/2020 18:18

I'm ready to do my C exam tonight once the dc are in bed. Feeling extremely nervous!

MoreMoneyPlease · 15/04/2020 18:19

@toastytea @Ifuckarses it was one where you had to come up with three Q&A about an image. It was worth $1 per task and I did quite a lot (at least 100). Like you, I haven't been keeping track because they all seemed to be in my work history but those ones have definitely disappeared Angry Online messaging has gone unanswered so will email them all!

toastytea · 15/04/2020 18:28

@MoreMoneyPlease @ifuckarses so I've just had another small payment from neevo trickle in, again not complete! They've got the number of tasks submitted wrong. I don't know if imagining things now but I thought my number of submitted tasks for a project was higher this morning and now it seems lower?! I can't be sure tho

MoreMoneyPlease · 15/04/2020 18:35

@toastytea I've also had a couple of tiny payments today (seriously, under £2!) I have no idea which tasks they relate to! I will be taking screen shots of my completed tasks now.

Frenchdoors1 · 15/04/2020 19:41

Is anyone's payment still showing as Pending in Payoneer?

Flube · 15/04/2020 20:28

@Frenchdoors1 I don't have any payment showing at all. Absolutely nothing.

toastytea · 15/04/2020 20:34

@MoreMoneyPlease I've gone through all my emails with them to check which tasks they're for! Still money outstanding. Really odd way to pay, there must be some logic to it?

DarkPassenger · 15/04/2020 20:38

My payment has gone through to Payoneer OK thankfully. I'm very relieved it's all been sorted.

Has anyone gone for the GBP Mastercard option for withdrawing?

SorryDidISayThatOutLoud · 15/04/2020 20:41

SNISR, have PMd you.

DarkPassenger · 15/04/2020 20:46

Meant to say I have also received about $23 over 6 or 7 payments from Neevo today too.

I didn't keep a record of the time I spent or which task amounts I accrued, and I haven't done anything at all for the last two weeks, but I'm certainly going to keep a record in future. I just logged in and checked my dashboard and all my tasks are closed so I'll be starting with a clean slate when I next do any work and will keep a close track of things.

Lougle · 15/04/2020 21:36

My payment went over to Payoneer ok, then I withdrew it to my bank account. When I'm paid by UTest it goes straight to my bank from Payoneer, so I'm not sure why it's different.

Frenchdoors1 · 15/04/2020 21:50

@Flube
Oh, i see. I would ring them tomorrow. There's loads of different scenarios on social re: payments. So goodness knows, seems like there's 10 different problems.

@DarkPassenger

No, I don't have that mastercard.

@Lougle
Oh that's good, didn't know that you could withdraw to your bank account Smile

Lougle · 15/04/2020 22:02

Yes, you can link your account. I don't know why the process of bank transfer is automatic with UTest (I get told I have a payment and that a further email will be sent when the bank transfer has been started) but not with Appen (I just get told I have a payment).

Fedupandpoor · 15/04/2020 22:05

I'm doing my C* test now, will it end or am I supposed to log out?

MoreMoneyPlease · 15/04/2020 22:12

@toastytea @darkpassenger tbh I find it hard to work out which email invitations go with which tasks on the dashboard, at least with Appen they all have different names. I'll be keeping a proper record from now on. Neevo was one of my favourites when we were doing those lovely customer service calls!

Fedupandpoor · 15/04/2020 22:18

I logged out. I forgot to check the time and was on there 40 minutes. Great start 🤦‍♀️

AdaShelby · 15/04/2020 22:32

I don't know if anyone who didn't pass their potato test.

It feels like you've failed but literally everyone passes Grin

Fedupandpoor · 15/04/2020 22:36

@AdaShelby That's encouraging, thank you! How long usually until you find out? I do feel like I have failed miserably!

Madre77 · 15/04/2020 22:44

@fedupandpoor I am doing my snack test shortly after a large mug of tea and some sweet carb injection of course (procrastinate procrastinate) . I am cacking it! xx

Kaylsar · 15/04/2020 22:47

Hi everyone,
I'm a longtime lurker and thought I'd give a summary of what I've been doing since lockdown.

Appen- I signed up 4 days ago, although I have applied a year ago but only managed the UHRS which I thought was rubbish. I got accepted this morning on B* but just waiting for tasks to be made available.

Prolific- I started yesterday morning and I am £11.64 up with £1.95 pending. Yesterday I made £10.03 so it might have just been beginners luck?!

20COGS- Unsure about this one tbh because I am £30 up but none of the other cogs appeal to me and it seems like I can't cash out unless all 20 cogs are completed. Will rethink it.

Freelancer- I did two writing tasks which were $120 minus the freelancer fee $16. So I think its roughly £85. Not bad for three hours work. I also have a $156 project that is due tomorrow morning but I haven't even started yet! I highly recommend Freelancer and have worked on the platform for years and remember working full time one month and earn £4000+. Obv, this is my biggest income atm

NVEENO- I did some tasks paying 0.04 a few days ago and all 61 submissions were rejected because of quality. Not sure why as I felt that I took my time. I am doing a 0.1 transcription check task atm, I've done about £6 worth but a bit worried they will reject it this time and it's making me worry about doing more then having everything rejected. They are tricky I must say.

I can't work for over 20 hours a week as have little ones and also still in education, but I am hoping to set my target for the next two weeks at £400.

Good luck to everyone!

curdsandwhey · 15/04/2020 22:59

@Kaylsar I've done a few cogs on 20Cogs and was initially one of those people who thought they'd do the whole thing in a couple of days Hmm but I'm seeing it differently now.

I was reading somewhere in the help section that they sometimes change their offers and get new ones in, so if nothing interests you then it's worth waiting a week and seeing if something better comes in. So I'm now planning on taking it a lot more slowly and waiting for something better to come up. Some people take six months or more to do it but I don't think that really matters, just keep it as a more occasional thing you'll keep up as and when.
