Hi could i ask a question re tax returns. I started earning thanks to this thread last July and registered as self employed on the gov site. I have earned around £3000 so obviously under the tax threshold but i cant work out if i still have to fill anything in or not? If anyone could help I would be very grateful

@Bemystarlord yes you will have to do one even though you won't owe any tax.

But it won't be due until January 2021 if you do it online. Earlier if you do paper.

@justtheonethen oh phew, thank you! I saw people on fb mentioning them being due this month and I was having a panic!

Anyone else doing the voice utterance cycle for Beeb on UTest? It is transcribing many of my utterances incorrectly. I have many repetitions and have no idea if I'm doing it right. I'm sure I've been doing it for longer than 30 mins, more like at least an hour. It is not recognising half of the podcasts and ok beeb is always transcribing as ok babe! Anyone else had problems with this?

To anyone on Cloudworkers, are you having trouble logging in? It just says lost connection, trying to connect. I can log in on the moderators platform, but do we still get paid for that?

@Catatemyhomework Yes I had those problems too and gave up. (Well I used the microphone button to finish it off and if they don't authorise it then so be it! I still said OK Beeb at the beginning of the phrase) I strongly suspect our voices are going to be on a tv show at some point in the future.

Oh God, I hope not @MrsWombat. That would be really bad. There is me effing and blinding in the background at dh shouting this effing thing is bollocks or words to that effect! Oh well, they'll get a typical night in my crazy household. Could make for good viewing I suppose! . Also, @MrsWombat, did you submit anything after you had finished? I've been on chat and they are talking about submitting a screenshot to show you've done the work, but I can't see an option to submit anything.

Hello all, it's 6am here in oz, and I'm facing a new school year of uncertainty, so thought I should look at this thread as I won't be back at work anytime soon.

Obviously I can't do match betting here, but think otherwise being online means time difference won't matter...

Can I ask about utest? It seems a good fit in theory, but how many hours a week is anyone actually doing? The example on money shed is a few years ago, but saying $500 a month is feasible....?

Anyway, need to go back and read all the January threads I think, to get a feel for all the opportunities!!

@Catatemyhomework I asked about that as I couldn't figure it out. On the left hand side under projects it says Test Cases. Click on that then a list of your projects comes up. You then click on this project and it will tell you what to do, and this is where you upload the screenshots.

Arr great, thanks @MrsWombat, found it. God that took ages. Not sure if I want to do week 2. Maybe it will be easier now I've done one. Also I only attached one screenshot of the transcriptions. I pressed submit on the data sheet in google docs and it was gone. Didn't realise I had to then attach it to the report. I'm really stressed now!

@Bemystarlord @BlackCatFan How did you start with this Lionbridge Social Media Evaluator task? I passed the English test, signed everything and have nothing outstanding, signed up to WorkMarket but haven't heard anything since. Apparently I'm in the Labour Cloud for it but there's nothing in there. There was some transcription jobs which came up yesterday so I pressed Apply but one has already come up with a notification to say it's no longer available and I'm not assigned to anything yet. Do they email you with instructions or does something come up on WorkMarket? Did you have to do this exam that people talk about? I keep checking my email spam and there's nothing there either

I've tried every single link on here for Freetrade, but I'm just always too late.

@Boobahs I just got an email inviting me to apply which i did then was sent a link to a test on work marker then a few days after that link to do a project specific test and then few days later got added to the tool.
