@StudentHelp I was nosing round their forum and found a bit that said details of free shares are sent out on Wednesdays and at least 7 days after you qualified for one. With any luck, you'll hear something tomorrow

Anybody else a bit stuck with utest i did the academy's but the cases I keep getting sent are nothing like the academy's and seem rather complex. I'm trying my best with them but feel a bit overwhelmed so not making any money other than $20 from bbc case. I wish something would come up on Appen or LionBridge

I’ve signed up for utest but I’m waiting to hear back from Lionbridge. I’d rather put effort into exams with them. I’ll give it til the end of the week and if I don’t hear back, I’ll start doing utest academy.
I haven’t earned much this month. I’ve mostly been trying to get to grips with C ris p and investigating all the leads here.
(I do have a very part time job so that keeps me ticking over a bit)

Finally got something on Appen! Anyone on Tr**ee - do I have to do it all in one go or does it matter if I do half in the morning then half later?

Also, I've been offered something on Lionbridge which looks almost identical, I guess this would be a conflict of interest if I accept both?

Why cant I find the freetrade pink app on google play Android? Anyone else having this problem?

@moremoneyplease I have read on other forums that if you end up on the same project, your identical IP address is quickly discovered (I think by the client) and you will be thrown off both.

Re. UTest I've read the terms again and it definitely says that we shouldn't be discussing customer names outside of cycles, so I'm going to stick to that because I'd like to be around for a while there. Generally, I think we need to see each project as a learning curve - it's not easy, but hopefully we'll get better in time!

uTest is massively frustrating me but I've found out what the problem is - it's our internet rather annoyingly, so I'm going to have to drop out of the test cycles and try and resume when our upload speed stops dropping to 0 because I can't complete any bug reports like this. So frustrating! I've done a couple more of the academy courses, and seem to have been invited to some paid ones which I would love to do :(

Think my total is going to be stuck at €55 for January.

How does it work with the shares? I topped up by £1 which is showing in my balance, but do I need to do anything else?

@devonport12, you might need to sign up to freetrade from your computer and then the app will be downloaded onto your phone through google play.

Trading 212 takes a while as well. I think I signed up last week and only got my free share yesterday. I got Ocado as well.

I couldn't find any shares for £1, but then I had a watch of a video they did and you can buy 0.1% or even 0.01% of a share, so you can really pick anything and move a slider to get it down to a lower cost. So I probably will spend the £1. I don't really know anything about investing except for obviously the basic stuff about buy when low, sell when high but I thought for £1 (or €1) it's a bit like playing the lottery, if I lose it it's not the end of the world.

I'm getting a bit desperate. Odd bits from qmee etc have been great but I really need to start putting some money by. Haven't had anything from appen or crisp so far which seem to be the biggest earners. And never did hear back from Rev.

For those that haven't heard from Rev, I've had an email from them this morning saying I've been accepted 🥳🥳

Things are slow with Appen, I find Crisp really tedious, so I'm trying to think of other things to do.

Has anyone made money selling on eBay? Maybe buying clothes/toys in the sale/ TK Maxx Gold etc. Or buying jewellery etc from Alibaba/China and re-selling on Etsy/eBay.

I'm not sure if there's enough of a margin, but wondered if anyone else had tried.
