So I signed up to Freetrade on Friday using a referral link. I've received an email today with a referral link so to pass on to others, but not free share. When do I receive the free share as I thought I'd have received it by now. Nothing's showing up on my Freetrade account apart from the initial £1 I deposited.

Madre77 · 27/01/2020 11:44

@themoneyshed. Thank you so much , I have followed your blog and this thread since last summer. I am a P. A by trade so have a fully equipped small home office type space and would like to make 2.5k a month but not intrested in match betting for personal reasons. I am doing cloudworkers chatoperator, appen, testing minds and neevo x

SpirallingThroughAnotherDay · 27/01/2020 12:04

I have a free trade link if anyone wants it, please only use it if you're going to top up £1 so we both get our free share Smile thanks!

freetrade.io/freeshare/?code=GR9YP6680X&sender=Xl9WuwHF You should sign up to Freetrade! It’s an app for investing in the stock market with no fees. Plus, when you sign up, we both get a free mystery share!

Buster27 · 27/01/2020 12:09

@bkaz I used your free trade link, got my mystery share today (though have to wait 7-10 days to find out what it is), hopefully you've got yours too?! If anybody still needs a link here's mine, remember to top up £1 to get the free share :)

You should sign up to Freetrade! It’s this app you can use to invest for free. Plus, when you sign up, we both get a free share - might be Apple or Tesla!

@Madre77

£2500 without Matched Betting is quite an ask but NOT impossible however I would say you need to look at things where you are more in control of your income.

So maybe freelance writing where you start out on say PeoplePerHour and charging say £50 for 1000 words and then moving that figure north and then going outside of sites like PPH and offering your services privately

Also blogging as in obvious one with an UNLIMITED earning potential and would allow you to be more in control of how much money you bring in.

Take a look at Totally Blogging which is a completely FREE 40+ module 'beginners guide' for blogging which takes you from setting up your first site through to earning the absolute most you can from it.

blog.themoneyshed.co.uk/totally-blogging-free-online-blogging-course/

Through blogging I was able to quit my full time job so believe me, the money is there!!

Multiple streams of income I think is going to be key for you but doing the likes of 50p surveys won't be ;)

AdaShelby · 27/01/2020 12:17

I was gubbed by most of the bookies which buggered matched betting for me.

Luckily I've got Appen and that's going well.

MoreMoneyPlease · 27/01/2020 12:19

@themoneyshed Please share the higher-paying online work with us all!! Grin

I have finally just made £5 on vypr, it's only taken about two months!

We still doing the free shares?? I've got three shares now so seems to be worth doing.

themoneyshed · 27/01/2020 12:22

@AdaShelby

You not do mug betting after each offer? Were you doing midweek horses? Were you taking too higher odds for the free bets?

Apricotfool · 27/01/2020 12:26

I’m just about to sign up to qmee- does anyone have a referral please?
I’ve also signed up to one poll and have £5.30 in there though I think the withdrawal threshold is £50?

Also what is Neevo please?

themoneyshed · 27/01/2020 12:34

@Apricotfool

here's a referral for Qmee ;)

I have posted my free share code below. Please don't forget to top up £1.

Apricotfool · 27/01/2020 12:51

Thanks @themoneyshed!

Apricotfool · 27/01/2020 12:52

Does neevo offer referral rewards?

anxiouswaiting · 27/01/2020 12:59

Been invited to Lionbridge internet safety evaluator but now I am worrying because it says they will not accept people working for Appen but Im not doing any work for Appen at the moment and projects I have been approved for have no work but when they do they are just transcription so not related at all. It says I have to inform them if I've worked for Appen so I guess when I do they are going to wothdraw the offer?

Got my UTeast utterances approved, hated doing it, it was picking up what I was saying fine but its answers usually unrelated. The air sure turned blue while I was doing it!

AdaShelby · 27/01/2020 13:08

@themoneyshed

I did loads of mug bets and was really careful not to bet on dodgy looking mid week stuff. No idea why I was gubbed so quickly but they won't even look into it, once you're out you're out.

It's very common though looking through all the threads on it. But still a total pain.

themoneyshed · 27/01/2020 13:11

@adashelby

With coral and William Hill you WILL get those account back after a few months of mugging. Happed to me and many others when we lost them ;)

ElasticFirecracker · 27/01/2020 13:21

Is anyone doing the Lionbridge Map Analyst exam? I was quite enthusiastic about this, but it's such a lot of work to do, and a huge amount of time to invest. I'm not even sure how much money I'll be able to make if I actually pass.

I'm reading a 250 page guide and there are other resources to look at after I've done this, and some practice questions. I'm not allowed to print out any of the guide either which makes reading it harder.

Is it worth me spending such a lot of time on it? Will I be able to make a reasonable amount of money?

Buster27 · 27/01/2020 13:22

@themoneyshed - good to know about Coral, I was sad to lose that one!

Catatemyhomework · 27/01/2020 13:23

I still have a referral link showing as unused if anyone would like it. Please remember to top up £1:

Lougle · 27/01/2020 13:25

I got turned down for Lionbridge. Don't know why. Sorry I can't help.

Madre77 · 27/01/2020 13:35

@lougle and @anxiouswaiting I was up front about working for appen and they told me they were fully staffed🤷🏾‍♀️ reading on here I think there is no conflict on projects they just don't like it but I can be wrong.

@themoneyshed thank you so very much for all your detailed help. I know match betting is the easiest way but have personal issues with betting so am steering clear. So will have to work a bit harder. Grin

anxiouswaiting · 27/01/2020 13:54

@Madre77 I am now awaiting my rejection e-mail having told them I have done audiotranscriptions for Appen in the past. Not at all related but I bet they don't let me proceed now!

Lougle · 27/01/2020 13:55

Madre, I'm with you. It's a shame because I'm sure I'd be really good at it (I'm a bit of a maths nerd) but it's not for me.

I'm a bit frustrated because I've been locked out of UTest and haven't had a reply from support yet.

Madre77 · 27/01/2020 14:22

Fingers crossed @anxiouswaiting that they take you on and there loss @lougle as a "maths nerd" I'm sure you must be a success at the match betting.
