Bot-watching into 2020. Hoping it's a good year for all (and the end of MLMs - Hey, a girl can dream!)

fromdownwest exactly! And no-one at my running club is worried if you’ve got make up on or not or what you look like by the end of it. It’s a running club not a fashion show!

ElusiveOrangeTwirl · 14/01/2020 21:22

Thank you Twentytwentyhindsight and MontanaSkies - it feels very underhand to me, and I hate to think of people feeling like they have to buy books at the end of the group. She even said in her description that people purchasing books helps the group continue. There are free groups at local libraries (and free books!), or most baby groups are around £1, which is far more affordable than feeling like you have to order an overpriced book every week.

Interesting thread about Usborne: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/womens_rights/3792431-Usbourne-publishing-calling-mums-transphobes?pg=9&order=

Whiterangey · 15/01/2020 01:44

That book sounds really bad and harmful.

I have a trans son and I have zero tolerance for transphobia. Criticising that book does not sound like transphobia, it sounds like common sense.

If your child is transgender then you do everything to support them, and you do end up fighting some battles, as a parent it's your job and your natural instinct. A child should never have to do that for a parent, you are an adult, don't put that on a child.

Yawn now knows how to eat better. Again!
Until the next time.

9dartfinish2nd · 15/01/2020 12:01

Not sure if it's already been posted on here but this was a really good article with Jenni Shaw, who was the filmaker of Ellie Undercover: Secrets of the Multi-Level Millionaires from earlier this year.

mlmtruth.org/2019/10/28/interview-with-jenni-shaw/

This part stood out for me -
"I was really struck by the depth to which it had impacted on the personal lives of those who had not had good experiences in an MLM. It had deeply affected romantic relationships, marriages, friendships, and relationships between family members. We had some very sad and moving conversations with people, some of which aren’t included in the film. They are the sorts of conversations that will stay with me, because they were so deeply upsetting. I was also struck by the level of fear about speaking out"

Does anybody know what level that Uber qualified at as the bloodsucker is at 7.5K apparently with no mention of Uber anywhere?
Could she be at 5K? This would indicate a huge fall of fortunes - and income!
Yawn joining a running club is as bad as when she joined the deaf society - only then did she let herself and her team perform on stage the sign language for vagina rather than diamond she was trying to convey!

Major major fail there Yawn.... Smile Xmas Blush

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 15/01/2020 12:49

Yawn is a walking talking medical miracle of biology if she's managed to lose 12.5lbs in nine days eating 1250 calories a day.

On the other end of the scale is Salon who's stopped eating altogether for 48 hours and is advocating that her minions do the same, and rather than taking up eating again just just reintroduce 'product' to start off with. Their poor bloody livers.

MLMsuperfan · 15/01/2020 13:03

This new video is a good view if you wandered what successful uplines did all day. Bit 🇺🇲 centered though.

fromdownwest · 15/01/2020 13:21

I would say 1.4 Lbs per day is doable, if you heavily restrict calories. Especially if you have enough to lose it is doable, it will be back on for most though when their calories increase.

When I used to fight in Martial Art comps I could drop 6 kg in a few days. Was like hell, but is possible. (and not at all healthy)

CodenameVillanelle · 15/01/2020 13:38

Yawn can't have lost more than 3lbs of fat in 9 days. If her TDEE is 2300 and she has had a deficit of 1000 a day that's 9000 deficit altogether - 2.5lbs of fat. 3lbs if we are being generous.

fromdownwest · 15/01/2020 13:40

A top bot wants to 'Stand out from the Croud (sic)'

Well that is one way to do it...

CodenameVillanelle · 15/01/2020 13:41

1.4lbs of fat a day is not doable. It will have been 75% water from her glycogen stores which will come straight back.

Whiterangey · 15/01/2020 13:47

Uber qualified at 7500

I love Kiki. She is so articulate in what she says.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 15/01/2020 14:40

Yawn said "All the gear, no idea...."

...the exact expression I used about her on this thread a few days ago (referring to her "countryside living" footwear, vehicle etc)

Hi Yawn, we know you read these threads.
Lets hope that one day you develop a conscience and stop scamming people.

9dartfinish2nd · 15/01/2020 16:57

Arbonne UK nearly 4 months late in posting accounts on Companies House?

Trouble in paradise??

SSDGM · 15/01/2020 22:47

Didn’t Yawn try running a while ago and then quit because she said that she shouldn’t do cardio that raised her cortisol levels, making her more fat?

I’ve been running for almost 8 years and gained 2 stone in that time. It makes you hungry and you can’t outrun a bad diet.

Whiterangey · 15/01/2020 23:31

The only way to lose weight is to eat less than you burn.

Her running didn't sound extreme yesterday, and she won't stick at it. She was wearing a forever t-shirt, so it's obvious why she is going.

Serious runners will already have all the health and nutrition stuff figured out and know that aloe shite will not help.

Ladiva1971 · 16/01/2020 01:07

Strange she is back in her size 14's meaning she was a size 16 before her C9, but last January she was back in her size 10/12 after her C9?

Norma27 · 16/01/2020 08:02

Yawn has not been a size 10-12 since I started reading these pages at the very beginning of them so 4 or 5 years I think.
Nothing wrong with not being that size, except for her bullshit lies. She is definitely bigger than ever
Her running group I think is This Girl Runs or similar. I did my local one a couple of years ago and do remember a forever shite bot there. Full of absolute beginners, some of whom may fall for her bullshit. I really hope not.

fromdownwest · 16/01/2020 09:08

The more desperate they get, the more predatory it is becoming. It truly is a horrific way to make money (or not in most cases)

I know bots read these pages, and wonder if they ever have any doubts about the moral stance of their job.

The top bots all do seem to be quite narcissistic, and I know one of the top Welsh bots has had interactions with someone I know on a professional level and said she was very very arrogant.

shamrockandroll · 16/01/2020 09:15

The bots that I have come across all display the same attitude - they all seem to think that they are far superior to everyone else because they have made a "small" amount of money!
A few years ago I was asked to help in my day job capacity by one of them to help her... she spoke to me like a skivvy and was so condescending towards my job - I ended up leaving her to find someone else to sort out her problems.
Funny thing is now if she approached me it would take all my strength to not laugh in her face after her fall from the heady heights of oversized cheques and spangled jewellery!

9dartfinish2nd · 16/01/2020 10:01

Anyone else noticed an increasing trend in bots moving away from facebook over to Instagram and adopting a more "Influencer" style in order to lure in new victims?
