Thanks very much for that Frenchdoors1. I will keep waiting then. Thanks for posting the link, that’s really useful info

TheCanterburyWhales · 23/09/2019 16:25

I have been diligently signing up for Appen projects since Otterseas started us all off at the beginning of the year and so far have only received the Noyo one off thing. Currently 18 processes "in progress". Hey ho.

I applied to TakeNote but there was some issue with my test transcription and I need to do it again.

Frenchdoors1 · 23/09/2019 16:39

@TheCanterburyWhales

Blimey.. 18 still in progress! Shock

Frenchdoors1 · 23/09/2019 19:31

Are there any other tasks on clickworker apart from Pinterest?

GachaBread · 23/09/2019 19:35

Anyone know how I send the documents of to cloudworkers. I need some help

Elmosonfire · 23/09/2019 20:16

Oh wow, TheCanterburyWhales, I didn’t realise it could be that long!! I won’t hold my breath for hearing back anytime soon! Think I will start trying matched betting in the meantime.

ChubRubTub · 23/09/2019 20:50

@rhij86 it took about a week to hear from isoftstone. I'm not in the UK though.

BeeMyBaby · 23/09/2019 21:17

@GachaBread just to say Take note are great and very supportive, I really feel they invest in their freelancers so much more than other companies as they do give a lot of helpful feedback and are very friendly. Unfortunately I'm not great at typing as I only basically use one hand so the max I can get up to is 70wpm, so my average is about £4-5ph, but I think if you started with a wpm of over 60 and use two hands, after a few tries you could probably increase to 100wpm and then be easily over minimum wage (plus I use a compact keyboard so the shortcuts for start/stop etc don't work as well). Plus most of the transcription is quite interesting to listen to, and if you find one too hard to understand or complicated then you can just email and ask for them to assign you something different.

Moremoneyplease · 24/09/2019 09:03

I've been accepted by Appen but having a few issues with the final registration. In the meantime I've been accepted by Lionbridge (although haven't done any tests for them so may fail those anyway!). Do I keep going with Appen and keep Lionbridge in reserve in case I don't get any work with Appen?Or attempt the Lionbridge test (and risk them finding out I'm with Appen?). Any advice??

Wolfff · 24/09/2019 09:58

As far as I remember you are not actually registered with Appen until you are allocated a project. I would carry on with Lionbridge and if that falls through, pursue Appen. You are not working for Appen right now so you are not lying.

Moremoneyplease · 24/09/2019 10:46

Thanks @Wolfff My paperwork seems to have now gone through with Appen so I'll just sit on Lionbridge for a moment.

I've signed up to just about everything on the thread (except 'adult' chat...just not my cup of tea!) and have so far only made a few pounds with the odd survey, VYPR and the chocolate bar testing so need to keep as many options open as I can!

TheCanterburyWhales · 24/09/2019 13:31

Yay, passed Crisp finally! 14, 18 and today 19.
Now I'll wait for years for the call up!

0hmygoodness · 24/09/2019 13:50

@Frenchdoors1 I am on clickworker and have finally got access to the UHRS tasks. It took an age but did eventually appear under the assessments tab.
There are far more tasks to complete once you get access to them.

Frenchdoors1 · 24/09/2019 14:12

@0hmygoodness
Thank you.
Yes, I've been on it for over an hour! Which I'm pleased about and I didn't get a message saying I had done some wrong like the other times I was on.
Some I'm still a bit unsure in though and have to guess the answer.
I'm not 100% sure what the Uhrs ones are, are they the Pinterest ones? And I did do another different task to.

@Frenchdoors1

I've managed to not get a telling off yet too Grin I go with my instinct. What're you on earnings wise on there? I managed €10 yesterday without much real effort just doing the Pinterest ones.

Frenchdoors1 · 24/09/2019 18:30

Hiya Otterses
You haven't been told off, good on you. You must be spot on with the answers then.
I'm on EUR 14.59 since Sunday afternoon, couldn't get on much after that, it's soooooooo busy. Did over an hour earlier. More often than not I can't get on.

Frenchdoors1 · 24/09/2019 18:37

Does anyone know what this is on clickworker? The writing in red. Can't get rid of it Confused

justtheonethen · 24/09/2019 18:50

@Frenchdoors1 do you have one you have reserved and not done?

Frenchdoors1 · 24/09/2019 18:53

Ah probably yes, but where would it be? Blush

Otterses · 24/09/2019 18:54

@Frenchdoors1

It's all the hours I waste on Pinterest Grin I knew there'd be a benefit someday!

I do find it utterly bizarre how many people do go on sites like clickworker, Appen and crisp. There's clearly a huge demand for flexible, from home work that's not being met.

Frenchdoors1 · 24/09/2019 19:01

Otterses
I see.. Well you have more knowledge of it then
I didn't even know all these sites existed until i saw them on these threads... Unbelievable..

Buster27 · 24/09/2019 19:29

Well, despite only doing 5 days this month, it's shaping up not too bad. I'm at £75 for matched betting, £8ish for prolific, and I finally got payoneer to sort out my paypal link so today I've had £175 of pending payments released into my paypal Grin

Definitely feeling motivated to put more effort into this again!

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 24/09/2019 19:49

clickworker is corrupting me! I've had to google a couple of terms and one made me feel rather queasy (ddlg in case anyone is wondering!). I'm up to 23 euros though so can't complain.

morrisseysquif · 24/09/2019 19:54

I passed Crisp in May with 20/20 and haven't heard anything since! I'm in London so I wonder if demographics are a factor.
Appen has gone quiet.
I'm still doing Prolific and Intellizoom.
I looked at the Adult Chat but it looked really sleazy.
