@whatthewhatthewhat18 batches or 18 utterances? As I remember them saying they would pay for each sentence so even if a few were not accepted in each batch you would still be paid for the ones in a batch that were accepted. I allowed for roughly 20 per batch to be rejected as i had to skip some and have been paid ok. If you have been rejected for 18 whole batches that surely cant be right!!

whatthewhatthewhat · 03/08/2019 12:39

@Bemystarlord 18 whole batches!

TheLolaMontez · 03/08/2019 23:07

If anyone would like a look at my shizz my shop is: www.etsy.com/shop/jenmorrisdesign Smile

bkaz · 04/08/2019 15:00

Has anyone received payment from Appen Connect for the voice recordings for July? I am still having difficulty in submitting the invoice.

Wolfff · 04/08/2019 15:30

@bkaz I understand the payment date is the 14th of the month. I received confirmation that my invoice has been accepted and put in the payment queue. My payment for the voice job was automatically entered into my invoice when it was presumably approved about 3 weeks after I did it. I have to enter the other work I do each day.

bananamuffin99 · 04/08/2019 18:21

With Cloudworkers are you classed as self employed, or do they deduct tax and NI contributions from what you earn automatically? TIA

Wolfff · 04/08/2019 20:49

@bananamuffin99 they describe it as self-employed freelance on their website.

toastytea · 04/08/2019 21:05

How long did the Fletcher task take on appen? Deadline tomorrow and I've just started. I recall people saying it was a lot longer than 3 hours...

Wolfff · 04/08/2019 21:45

@toastytea took me about 8-9 hours, I got quicker as I went along though.

toastytea · 04/08/2019 21:55

@wolfff oh my oh my. Ooooooh lordy.

anxiouswaiting · 04/08/2019 22:24

I've made £40 today on Boon25. It's the first time I have used it, needed to buy a travel cot from Argos on Friday and Topcashback is only giving 1% cashback for Argos at the moment so I thought I would give Boom25 a go instead. Today I got notification that I had won my £40 back, very happy with that!

If anyone is interested in joining and would be happy to use my referral link it is boom25.com/raf/NkCKamAaI

toastytea · 04/08/2019 22:55

If you abandon session on AMR does it save what you've done?

toastytea · 04/08/2019 23:19

I abandoned. Definitely takes longer than 3 hours, agreed about 8. Simply don't have the time to complete by tomorrow. That would have been my first project 😢

lannister · 05/08/2019 06:15

@ChubRubTub you are not alone in getting a bit disheartened. I too passes crisp in May. Still not heard anything. Applied for Appen projects & still waiting to qualify. I just keep positive & keep doing all the other ways to earn like surveys, matched betting etc..

bkaz · 05/08/2019 06:39

@Wolfff. Thanks for confirming. I did not get any email confirmation for my voice recordings, so wondering if they have rejected it. I emailed them but got no reply. For Appen Global this is automatic.

@Toast, this will definitely take 8-9 hours, but they usually extend the deadline. They did with mine, but unable to submit the invoice so hoping it was not a wasted effort. Good luck

ChubRubTub · 05/08/2019 07:16

@lannister. It's frustrating isn't it? I really wish Crisp would come through. I wonder what's the longest someone has waited?

Are you making much matched betting? I just find it such small amounts. Maybe I need to pay for one of the sites that helps with reloads / best bets etc.

Otterses · 05/08/2019 12:28

@ChubRubTub I really understand your frustration. I think a lot of existing Crisp users are finding the workload really low at the moment. There just doesn't seem to be enough opportunities out there to meet demand.

I'd really recommend Profit accumulator. I'm rejoining tonight.

Out of interest, is that the style of work that appeals to everyone? The sort of hop on/hop off as and when approach?

Thanks Otterses. I'll have a look at Profit Accumulator. I've lost hope in matched betting, but I should try harder.

Yes, I'm definitely looking for stuff I can do at times that suits me. The hours I have available vary, and I never really know in advance, so I need something flexible.

seizethecuttlefish · 05/08/2019 14:16

I'm still waiting on Crisp too. FLETCHER is the only big project I've completed on Appen and it was soul destroying. I've got the test to take for Pecwan but I can't get into the guidelines. I emailed on Thursday evening and they've never got back to me Angry
I haven't done any matched betting. Keep meaning to look at it but chickening out. Made a few pounds on surveys. Need to do some eBay today and cloudworkers training tonight. Clickworkers is at 3 euros, so that's good.

seizethecuttlefish · 05/08/2019 14:28

Has anyone got a copy of the PECWAN guidelines they could forward me. Appen have sent me a new link but apparently I don't have access to it 😬

SpirallingThroughAnotherDay · 05/08/2019 14:43

Hi!
Anyone that has applied for cloud workers, how long after you returned your documents did you hear from them again either about training or more info needed ( I'm not sure I've filled everything in correctly!) I know they are busy but not sure how long I should wait before contacting them again, I sent mine back on the 17th July.
Thanks!
