A big thank you to to @reddA for compiling this list :)

@whatthewhatthewhat

1st-31st, it's in the guidelines Smile

I'd say check on there/ask your shift supervisor any questions. We've been flagged up before for asking questions on here and not on there.

Anyone on Pecwan? I've got the test to do. Just wondering if anyone's done it? It's my first decent rate Appen project.

whatthewhatthewhat · 02/08/2019 07:45

@Otterses oops, I'll get the posts deleted - but it's so much quicker asking on here! 🤣

Otterses · 02/08/2019 08:02

 I know  [grin]@whatthewhatthewhat !

@seizethecuttlefish ohhhh! Let me know how you get on. Have you had a look over at the money shed on the Appen forum there? There may be some tips Smile

There is a new short project for Appen for anyone with a smart home speaker device. I have no idea how it works but I've signed up. Fingers crossed.

Otterses · 02/08/2019 16:20

Ohhhh!

I've gotten a place on a toy related market research panel Grin ! It's another winning amazon vouchers based on your contribution one.

What is crisp?

anxiouswaiting · 02/08/2019 18:43

Appen is messing with me. First time I tried Yukon I didn't complete the exam as couldn't get through 166 pages of reading and 12 hours of an exam in 7 days. I then got a 'one time chance- to try again last month and failed it on the first of 3 sections. Now today they are offering me another 'one time chance' to do it again.

I wonder if they will just keep offering it till I pass. The rate and available hours are so good, wish I could pass it but fear I would be wasting my time again!

Otterses · 02/08/2019 19:05

@Mills2976

Social media risk analyst work Smile as per the first post.

Failing at the first hurdle. I can't even find the guidelines for Pecwan! Blush

PlsTryAnother · 02/08/2019 21:05

Ok so I'm late to this and I havent RTFT but really need to do this. Got so much junk to sort out in my house that will sell, just need to get my arse in to gear to do it. Ebay and FB selling here i come!

m00rfarm · 02/08/2019 21:39

Crisp question. I’ve been doing it now for roughly one month. I’ve not had any feedback. Do I assume that I must be doing it correctly if I hear nothing?

Otterses · 02/08/2019 22:34

@m00rfarm

No news is EXCELLENT NEWS Grin

I am terrified I am going to be sacked for getting it wrong. It is so weird - in real life I am rarely stressed about work despite having some fairly complicated situations to resolve - but Crisp is really getting to me!

ChubRubTub · 02/08/2019 23:38

Still loving these threads, but is anyone in the same position as me and getting disheartened?

I passed Crisp in May and haven't heard anything. I've applied to 6 things on Appen and not got anything. I passed the 2 exams for Wouri, then got a message saying there wasn't any availability. Why let me take the exam? Might I hear something in future?

Anyway, just venting. I'm so glad I found this thread, but I'd really like to get started on something.

(I'm doing matched betting and finding that ok, but a bit slow to make any decent money).

whatthewhatthewhat · 03/08/2019 07:07

@justtheonethen 509 - apparently Payment for all those that passed. All the rest failed!!! (Which in my case was at quite a lot, so I'm very 🤔😡😡)

Bemystarlord · 03/08/2019 09:14

@whatthewhatthewhat oh no how many did they not pay you for?

whatthewhatthewhat · 03/08/2019 10:35

About 18 :-(

I don't think all of them could have failed :-(

BlackCatFan · 03/08/2019 10:43

I feel the same @m00rfarm I'm really enjoying Crisp and I keep thinking I'd be gutted if they 'sacked' me. I'm also factoring in the earnings from them for the next couple of months so I really hope they don't! 😁

m00rfarm · 03/08/2019 10:46

@BlackCatFan - how much did you do in July - I managed only £60 but by my reckoning am doing about £4-5 per hour. I could be more speedy but they are not coming through very fast. I am feeling much more on top of trending issues these days :)

justtheonethen · 03/08/2019 10:52

@whatthewhatthewhat what?! That's really crappy. They can't all have failed Hmm. Mine is only for two lots so not that bad but still. I can't see how they failed Angry

BlackCatFan · 03/08/2019 11:41

@m00rfarm I don't know how much I've earned until I get the statement. The training data isn't included on my dashboard but I've been advised that it has been logged by them.. most of July was training data for me so we'll see .... £60 is a good start, better than nothing. I'm hoping August is a good month for me.

CatHopeful · 03/08/2019 11:56

No feedback here from Crisp either, so I'm taking that as a good sign :) I too would be gutted if they 'sacked' me. Even though I'm only pulling in about £5/6 per hour, I'm kind of enjoying it and the flexibility with it is amazing, it really feels like a way to monetize the time I have available, rather than starting with the hours and trying to fit my availability into that, if that makes any sense. It's something which is something I've never managed to find before in all my years as a SAHM. I'm so glad I found these threads x I guess the only downside, as mentioned above, is that there is not always the content available at the times when I am.

I'm wondering whether to try Appen. Is it the Global or the other one that has the best work? I note they need a CV, I haven't had to do one of those for over 12 years...

I'm having a bit of a brain fart/memory lapse moment - does the Crisp dashboard update at weekends? I did about £23 yesterday that hasn't been logged on the dashboard overnight.
