A huge congratulations to all the new Crispers! Hopefully @reddA the content hoarder won't stand in your way of earning extra cash Wink

Ohmygoodness that was supposed to say change-spk!

FloofenHoofen · 30/06/2019 15:15

anxiouswaiting to be fair thinking about it I can't see how it's paid per task as my invoice says they've paid me by hour. It does say how many tasks I've done though, but they've paid me by the hour.

anxiouswaiting · 30/06/2019 18:05

@FloofenHoofen Thanks. I guess I will just have to wait and see what they decide to pay me. Does the invoice just get added to the normal monthly one? I'm a bit confused by that too as their e-mail says you get paid every 2 weeks but Appen invoices are monthly so is it a separate invoice? I'm not sure if I need to hold off submitting my June invoice waiting for that to be added to it?

Just totalled up and I was aiming for about £900 this month and have managed £490 so not hit target but I have spent a lot of time reading training guidelines for 2 Appen projects and Crisp so actually I am quite happy with it. Plus we were out today and I managed to get DH to spend a considerably amount of time looking at the Joie carseats so I think he is coming around to the idea now I am bringing in some extra money Grin

Also another competition win, a lovely keep cool water bottle worth £30 (sorry @Otterses!!! I won it on a Facebook competition, that does seem to be where most of my wins come from so really might be worth you setting up an account just for comping?)

FloofenHoofen · 30/06/2019 18:14

I know what you mean anxiouswaiting my guess is that they probably used to do it like that on global but since the transition they have to just add it to the invoices and it's processed monthly instead.
It's auto generated so you should see work added on after about 2-3 days at a time.

reddA · 30/06/2019 18:27

Cracking totals @Otterses!!
Mine are:
Crisp £1000 + (hopefully it will update correctly tomorrow)
Prolific £48.82
Appen £48.28
Clickworker £5.01
Populous £50.00
Clearblue £25 Love2shop vouchers

I think that's it, prolific and populous were obviously accumulated over time but I withdrew in June

reddA · 30/06/2019 18:30

@anxiouswaiting congrats on your win Grin Training to get jobs takes up so much time, I've wasted loads since we began this challenge and the longer the training takes the less chance I seem to have of passing (Lionbridge/Appen) Hmm

anxiouswaiting · 30/06/2019 18:44

@reddA Yes I know what you mean, I spent so many hours on that bloody Yukon training and then didn't even do the exam as I ran out of time and still didn't really understand it! Amazing months total for you!!

Hello can I join?
I'm a freelance social media manager and writer, and am trying to earn extra on top of my existing contracts because work has been thin on the ground.
I did the Crisp entrance test but where did you all see a score? I didn't see mine! Not sure if that's a good or bad thing...

Great thread, really motivating...
