Hi , I've just finished my first appen task (the Fletcher voice collection one - and boy am i glad thats over!!). What do i do now? Nothing seems to have changed on the website and i haven't had any emails

justtheonethen · 27/06/2019 20:04

No yellow flowers here @Otterses Grin

Otterses · 27/06/2019 20:35

@Gymbabes you go and have a BIG DRINK !

Have you set up your Payoneer account so you can get paid? If so, just leave it with them.

@justtheonethen I would take a photo of the offensive flower, but it would probably break the internet.

Congratulations Otterses! And anxiouswaiting. Great news.

Thanks for the new thread. I really must try crisp, mustn't I? Is it very boring?

Blessthekids · 27/06/2019 22:06

Sprinkling lucky dust on everyone on the thread

Otterses · 27/06/2019 22:10

@margaritasbythesea

I don't find it boring, I find I'm actually a lot more informed about things going on in the world to be honest! I get quite distracted on there Grin

Gah this EU transcription is kicking my butt! I am having so much trouble understanding some of these accents and am having to listen to the recordings 5 or 6 times and then still putting loads of tags to say I can't understand it. I've only managed 50 and have been at it for over an hour. Wish I had gotten on to the English one! Have a feeling I might get pulled up for not having high enough quality.

TheLolaMontez · 27/06/2019 22:54

Hello all, hurrah for the new thread! Grin how exciting, lots of great news for everyone too!

I have done absolutely fuck all today, I've started making a bag (another product for the Etsy shop, unless I like it and keep it for myself)... aside from that I sold a couple of insulated bottle bags for £4, so not a totally dry day.

I've also just been pecked to (almost) death by the resident bird, who is now called Joseph. He hates his medication but hopefully we're getting closer to letting him go again Smile

whatthewhatthewhat · 27/06/2019 23:59

Awaiting Crisp test results...

How did all the newbies do? How much did you make on your first day?

margaritasbythesea · 28/06/2019 07:30

Thanks Otterses. From what I can tell, you can work as and when suits you. Is that right?

Otterses · 28/06/2019 08:04

@whatthewhatthewhat

All the newbies must work three hours and earn a fiver Grin it's a right of passage!

@margaritasbythesea Yep! It works well when I'm up at strange hours.

I'm not going to get a lot done today. DS and I are going to nursery this morning for an induction session. Then hopefully DH will be back mid afternoon Grin

OP posts:
whatthewhatthewhat · 28/06/2019 08:12

@Otterses three hours for a fiver? Why?

BlackCatFan · 28/06/2019 08:18

Crisp people - are you paid per hour or per query? If so, how much does it work out per query? I'm sure I read this somewhere but I cant find it now. I didn't receive a log in for the payment dashboard, does it take a while to get this set up? Thanks

whatthewhatthewhat · 28/06/2019 08:19

@BlackCatFan how mush have you managed to do on Crisp?

whatthewhatthewhat · 28/06/2019 08:19

*much

reddA · 28/06/2019 08:22

Morning :) got up early to try and get my target out of the way, dashboard not updated so not sure how I'm doing.

Yep £5 sounds about right Grin It just takes forever in the beginning as you're not used to it, it takes a while to build up speed (and earnings). We all thought we were wasting our time and could never earn a decent wage!

BlackCatFan · 28/06/2019 08:23

@whatthewhatthewhat I haven't started yet, still waiting for my log ins for system you work from

reddA · 28/06/2019 08:24

@BlackCatFan it varies as some are quicker to classify than others

reddA · 28/06/2019 08:27

There are shifts paid per hour but you need to be more experienced

Otterses · 28/06/2019 08:31

@whatthewhatthewhat because you'll over think every post, sit for ages pondering what to classify it as, contact your shift manager 40 times... until you get your confidence up and you work at a normal pace haha!

@BlackCatFan I didn't get my access to Klip for about two weeks, but they do track your work, so no need to worry.

It averages £10 per hour, content value can vary a bit.

BlackCatFan · 28/06/2019 08:51

@Otterses Thanks!

whatthewhatthewhat · 28/06/2019 09:34

How long between doing the exam and getting feedback? (Do you get results?) I'm very impatient! Lol

reddA · 28/06/2019 09:49

I can't be certain but I'm sure most of us got results after lunch - I remember checking back on posts when waiting for mine - but that may just have been coincidence

whatthewhatthewhat · 28/06/2019 09:51

K, will WAIT! 🤣🤣

reddA · 28/06/2019 09:55

Step away from the computer Grin Grin
