Another month done folks Grin a quarter of the way through the year.

I thought we could try something different this time, the original list looks a little redundant. So I thought we could all post our top five earners from the last few months.

For me, in no particular order:

  1. Leapforce.
  2. Crisp Thinking
  3. Angelfish
  4. Quidco
  5. MobileXpression (bloody love this passive one!)

What're yours?

Hi Shannon, I've done a couple of things for you in the past and am happy to recommend you.

although wasn't happy to be rejected from the football one yesterday after being told I was in.

Otterses · 09/04/2019 17:16

STATEMENTS ARE IN!

£111 Grin

Hi,

I'm so sorry that we weren't able to invite you to the project right away, we had a lot of interest in the project and only limited availability so had to offer the spaces on a first come first serve basis.

Thank you for your continued interest in our projects, and my apologies for any confusion caused!

Have a wonderful day.

Best,
Shannon

Otterses · 09/04/2019 17:25

@mydogisthebest and @Numptysod you know what? Stuff 'em then Grin

Have you both applied to cloud worker yet?

OP posts:
WithAllIntenseAndPurposes · 09/04/2019 18:20

I just received mine and have got twenty pounds more than expected! Happy days

QueenDoria · 09/04/2019 18:23

Interesting thread. Thank you.

Numptysod · 09/04/2019 18:41

I try cloud worker then 😂😂

BoltMosaic · 09/04/2019 18:47

Hi, can anyone tell me how project Nile works if you are on holiday abroad for 2 weeks?

Do you get kicked off at the point or are you allowed to specify periods that you are unavailable for?

Thanks

Otterses · 09/04/2019 18:48

That's excellent news @WithAllIntenseAndPurposes how much did you make, if you don't mind me asking?

It's made me really optimistic about Crisp to be honest. £111... and I haven't exactly put the effort in. I'm really going to try to hit £220 this month and double my money.

@QueenDoria Glad you're finding it useful

@Numptysod aye, nothing ventured and all that.

Has anyone else heard back about that 5-10 hours admin from home job I posted last thread from workingmums? They had 800 applicants apparently at last count Shock they've sent me a sample piece of work to do.

It makes you realise how competitive Appen and the like must be though in terms of volume of applicants per post!

OP posts:
Butterfly1066 · 09/04/2019 18:50

Interesting and inspiring

Otterses · 09/04/2019 18:51

@BoltMosaic I'm afraid I've never been abroad while on Nile. I think as long as you contact support, you'll be fine.

They prefer you to take whole weeks, rather than doing 1-4 hours of work and not hitting your 5 hour minimum.

OP posts:
WithAllIntenseAndPurposes · 09/04/2019 18:51

I earned fifty and I've literally done an hour about five times

Otterses · 09/04/2019 18:52

@Butterfly1066 Awh Grin I'm glad you're finding it inspiring. I find it inspiring every day coming on and seeing how brilliantly everyone has been doing.

justtheonethen · 09/04/2019 18:52

Hello. I've been following this thread avidly to try and get some extra income so I don't have to go back to work after mat leave! Thank you for all the ideas!

I have been invited to take a test with lionbridge for an internet assessor post (have signed contractor terms) and one of the things it says is you can't be working for appen/clickworker/a few others. Annoying as I've signed up with Appen too and have a few things pending approval with them Sad

reddA · 09/04/2019 18:52

Mine came through too :) better than expected - probably the work we did before the dashboard login came through. I actually don't mind crisp but I just seem to keep getting interrupted at home and you really need to get into the right mindset and on a roll - at least they converse with you though unlike some Hmm

Otterses · 09/04/2019 18:54

@WithAllIntenseAndPurposes Shock

I am speechless. That's fantastic, especially with the time spent on it too! You'll do brilliantly with that one next month Grin

OP posts:
BoltMosaic · 09/04/2019 18:59

Thanks @Otterses

Otterses · 09/04/2019 19:02

@reddA how did you do?

I actually agree, I'm not minding it so much now. Last night I found it fantastic logging in at 1am! Loads of no risk content too so I whizzed through.

I'm considering dedicating two 'nights' a week to it, may be an idea for you?

@justtheonethen I really think you should do the LB exam Grin just give it a crack. Don't declare you have 'pending' projects in Appen - I've had 8 for three months 😂 LB is a pretty much instant start if you pass.

The moneyformummy blog has a good couple of pages about passing the exam, it's for Appen, but the LB exam is very similar by all accounts.

OP posts:
justtheonethen · 09/04/2019 19:08

@Otterses thank you, I shall do! I have told them I have applied for Appen but am not working for them. I'll have a look a that page.

Again, thank you, I'm really hopeful I won't have to go back to supply teaching. I only need a £100 a week really so should be doable right?!

Otterses · 09/04/2019 19:29

@justtheonethen I think £400 is doable Smile but keep in mind, projects on Appen can end suddenly, and LB don't keep you forever I'm afraid! I'd hedge your bets, and apply to Crisp and Cloud Workers too and try to have multiple income sources, and a buffer in case work dries up on one of the sites.

LB is £10 p/h and I think if I remember a minimum of 15 hours per week? So £650 a month.

OP posts:
justtheonethen · 09/04/2019 19:35

@Otterses I've applied to all those already. Fingers crossed some of them come through.

Otterses · 09/04/2019 19:41

That's great @justtheonethen Grin I'm hoping I'll come across some other sites.

I'm sure you've thought of it already, but have you not considered online tutoring? You'd easily make £400 a month for around 10 hours a week maximum, if you have a partner that could maybe have the baby a couple of evenings a week.

OP posts:
reddA · 09/04/2019 20:24

@otterses £145 and I'm over £140 this month already (and not done as much as I would like) I'm also optimistic about it - just need to stop all of the interruptions! @justtheonethen crisp would be ideal for you :)
