Another month done folks Grin a quarter of the way through the year.

I thought we could try something different this time, the original list looks a little redundant. So I thought we could all post our top five earners from the last few months.

For me, in no particular order:

  1. Leapforce.
  2. Crisp Thinking
  3. Angelfish
  4. Quidco
  5. MobileXpression (bloody love this passive one!)

What're yours?

Marking place. I’ve heard of matched betting but I’m a bit nervous to try it.

Aside from MB what would you recommend for a beginner? I don’t have a lot of money at the end of my month so I don’t shop a lot so cashback sites like TopCashback probably wouldn’t be any good for me

Pugworld · 02/04/2019 20:38

I get a fiver in vouchers ever 2-3 days from Swagbucks. It's not a fortune but it all helps. Here's a referral link if anyone would like to try it out: www.swagbucks.com/refer/TaliaRose

MadeForThis · 02/04/2019 20:39

Respondent has some great tasks and pays quick.

Fizzyboo · 02/04/2019 21:16

Placemarking,... only doing crisp so far

BlockRockinBeats · 03/04/2019 05:36

I know people think they don't do enough online shopping to get cashback. I bet you can easily earn £5+ from some of their offers,

If you use my link to join, we both get a tenner each, when you reach up to £5 cashback of your own. This is easily doable by joining some bingo sites!D

I've had confirmation of my pay from Appen. I can't quite believe it! At least all the hassle has paid off. Nice little earner. My DH is well impressed.

I've found the feedback quite helpful, although two were on the first week so I couldn't tell if there were any improvements. The last was really mixed. I'm trying to take it as it comes and learn from it.

I wish I understood the process a bit more. I want to know why they give you the same ad again and again!

FloofenHoofen · 03/04/2019 09:05

Thanks for that Margaritasbythesea I just logged in to see whether mine had been approved too and it has. £850 coming my way! Can't wait Grin

WithAllIntenseAndPurposes · 03/04/2019 10:00

Anyone found any better work from home gigs than crisp?

FloofenHoofen · 03/04/2019 10:13

Appen

WithAllIntenseAndPurposes · 03/04/2019 10:27

What sort of rates of pay if you don't mind me asking

margaritasbythesea · 03/04/2019 11:39

Yay Floofen!

WithAll - it works out around £10 an hour I think, if you do the job in the time allowed (which I don't know the amount of things you have to do has gone up - usually an hour and twenty minutes).

MadeForThis · 03/04/2019 11:42

Anyone got a Shoppix referral code. Going to set up an account.

FloofenHoofen · 03/04/2019 11:54

The projects I'm on at the moment works out to be £11.80 an hour. Every project is different. Some you can work all the hours you want and others you can only work an hour a day. Apply to all projects and sit and wait to be accepted into one. Do you have an iPhone or iOS device WithAllIntenseAndPurposes? This will open you up to some new projects that have been put up, they're 20 hours max a week, I do roughly 3 hours a day per project.

bodgersmash · 03/04/2019 12:13

Would it be ok if I joined please? I have found out that DP has racked up credit card debt in secret for the third time so I've asked him to leave. This happened two days after me reducing my hours to PT from FT and things are going to be ridiculously tight so an extra £10 a day would make a huge difference to me.

WithAllIntenseAndPurposes · 03/04/2019 12:20

Thanks guys for the information re appen yes I do have a smart phone

Inaquandry06 · 03/04/2019 13:01

Could anyone send a referral link for Appen please? I did google but haven’t found anything to ‘sign up’

I joined ohmydosh last night, thank you for the link, already made £10 for some free trials Smile

FloofenHoofen · 03/04/2019 13:04

tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz · 03/04/2019 13:28

Can I join you all? Blockrockin I've used your referral code hope that's ok? Looking forward to getting started!

I've signed up to Prolific but haven't had much come my way. Swag bucks has been okay, I've got a few vouchers already, plan is to keep them till Christmas!

tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz · 03/04/2019 13:39

Some newbie questions -

When it comes to the store gift cards you can get as payout. I can't print them as I'm using an iPad and don't have a printer or access to one maybe I should opt for Curry's vouchers and get one!. If I take a screen shot of the card and barcode could I just present the photo in a store?

Should I keep track of earnings for HMRC? Are they considered benefits in kind?

Thanks!

Otterses · 03/04/2019 14:46

@bodgersmash I'm so sorry, I can't imagine how awful that must be.

I'm sure you can absolutely smash the £10 a day target though Smile how much time do you think you can spare a day? Any utilities to for renewal? It's not just about reducing what you pay, some of the cash back deals are fantastic at the moment.

For a quick 'win' I'd really recommend Football Index. I'll pull the instructions off the old thread as a couple of you have asked.

OP posts:
bodgersmash · 03/04/2019 15:00

Thank you @Otterses

I can spare a few hours a day - I just need to be physically present at home as DS has SEN, hence me reducing my hours at work. He's nearly 12 though so as long as I'm physically present at home there's nothing stopping me being online chipping away at making some money from home.

margaritasbythesea · 03/04/2019 18:30

Bodger - be aware Appen take ages to get back to you initially. For me it was a month.

I want to see more people on here using Life Points! It's by far and away the best survey site I've tried. Really frequent surveys. I don't do it that much but I reckon you could easily get 5 pounds vouchers 2 or 3 times a week if you kept at it.

Octopus37 · 03/04/2019 18:54

I have just signed up with Life Points

bodgersmash · 03/04/2019 19:03

I've just tried Life Points - there's quite a few surveys I've done and they've not given me any points for them which is a tad annoying... going to try something else suggested on the thread next.

DuckPancake · 03/04/2019 19:03

Place marking so I can RTWT later. Interested in giving this a go!
