The thread where network marketing / multilevel marketing goes local - not global.

@Paddy1234 - Does an 'intensive mentioning' programme mean you just talk about it a lot?

Spongebobette · 27/03/2019 20:29

I am always amazed how Yawn gets away with prefacing all the income claims with ‘putting plans in place to...’

Whiterangey · 27/03/2019 20:49

She was saying she likes social media for the memories, that's probably how she remembered what a chairman's bonus is.

JasperRising · 27/03/2019 22:13

I've seen a lot of the FL bots use wording along the lines 'planning X's business to achieve y' - actually probably even more subtle than that because you really have to read carefully to see that they are congratulating a downline bot for having plans towards a goal rather than having achieved the goal. So sneaky. Not a lie but clearly intended to mislead those unfamiliar with their strategies.

Whiterangey · 27/03/2019 22:36

All that online marketing Yawn did for mothers day and she sold practically nothing. Looks like she sold a few of the handwash combos, none of the expensive creams or anything like that. It's pitiful but I bet she told her downline it was a success. You also know the stuff she did sell she had on hand because she had to buy it to up her own cc's ad she has hardly any customers.

If the hand soap was the best of the best most families would need more than 1 every so often. I have two bottles of hands wash on the go at all times and neither last 2 weeks. I get the cheap stuff from Tesco and nobody's hands have fallen off.

For my child with eczema I get the e45 hand wash because no soap based hand wash has ever done anything but irritate and dry her hands. Still cheaper than the FLP crap.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 27/03/2019 22:36

It's also presented as a done deal. "Follow my plan step-by-step, and by x date, you will be earning y"...

99% of the time, the bot will have ceased botting by x date and be long forgotten, so there is no comeback about the promise.

suedoname · 28/03/2019 06:01

Planning business in Forever living is a joke. They insist you drive miles to meet up with your castle bot must have planner and they draw circles. This is called mapping to manager.

So this circle is you.

You need to get x amount of people.

They need x amount of people.

That's not planning anything. That's telling me I need to find approx 45 magic people minimum and I have to help those 45 find 45 to feel like I'm not leaving you out to dry.

Whiterangey · 28/03/2019 06:36

45? So not only do you need to find 45 people but then help find a further 2025

For those 2025 to then reach the same level as you by finding 45 people themselves and helping those 45 people each find 45 people that would be a further 4,100,625 people.

That is totally doable and why success in FLP is so easily replicated. The only way that you can fail is if you don't work hard enough or you have a negative mindset or a mixture of the two.

Paddy1234 · 28/03/2019 08:09

5 order are going out this week. Oh dear

Whiterangey · 28/03/2019 08:14

For the March success day the first two bots who are speaking after the country manager both have companies that are insolvent and both owe money to HRMC due to taking out director loans. Is that what counts as successful?

Twentytwentyhindsight · 28/03/2019 09:20

Well spotted White.
The first one wasted no time in setting up another limited company even before Companies House issued a notice for compulsory strike off of the first, which owes the taxman over 15k.

9dartfinish2nd · 28/03/2019 10:18

Elle Beau posted on her FB page that Younique have laid off 20% of their coporate staff.

Trouble in paradise??

9dartfinish2nd · 28/03/2019 10:22

@Whiterangey

That's a very dangerous game they are playing if true, as HMRC are clamping down on this tactic apparently.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 28/03/2019 10:45

Looking at the timeline of liquidation bot 1's accounts (hard to be sure, as micro-entity accounts are not very detailed), it all comes down to her 2017 CB cheque for $78k.
Looks like she paid herself the full amount, forgetting HMRC's cut.

CurlsandCurves · 28/03/2019 13:30

Very sad to read of Dorne Parker’s passing. Putting MLM aside for a minute, she was a lovely person, taken far too young.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 28/03/2019 13:38

TS Shite have launched "CBD infused skincare". Apparently this has never ever been used in skincare before. A quick Google suggests that actually there is rather a lot on the market already.

BangingOn · 28/03/2019 14:22

Curls was she Bob’s wife?

Norma27 · 28/03/2019 14:37

To be that high up in forever shite she can’t have been that nice a person unfortunately. She had acquired considerable wealth by conning others out of their money. She knew, as does her husband, where that money comes from.

Whiterangey · 28/03/2019 15:01

I'm not sure if she is his wife or ex wife. He described her as a friend to them all but then said about her being an excellent mother and grandchildren to their children and grandchildren. If they were still together he would have mentioned her being his wife.

So sad.

acatcalledjohn · 28/03/2019 15:08

I'm inclined to agree with @Norma27. She knew people were being scammed and being nice to them was simply a way of keeping the money rolling in.

A genuine person would have put ethics before money.

acatcalledjohn · 28/03/2019 15:27

Castle has just gone live. I'm unable to watch as at work, but the title says "I'm actually going to become an MP"

I suppose with her lying and scamming over the years she fits the bill, but my guess is that MP does not mean Member of Parliament here...

CurlsandCurves · 28/03/2019 16:06

Ex wife I believe. They were together when I was in. Think she was still on ‘the board’ tho after the split.

And I know what you mean, she was just as much a part of it all as the rest of them. Doesn’t mean I can’t feel sympathy for those she’s left behind.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 28/03/2019 17:19

Yes Broke, it is very wise to plaster pictures of yourself smoking a spliff all over FB when you are having access issues with the mother of your children... Also so business like.

On another point, has anyone noticed that there is a crutch in the pictures when he is having his 'aliments' seen to at a clinic/hospital, but it magically disappears when he's at the gym or running with the dog? That CBD really is Jesus in a bottle!

Whiterangey · 28/03/2019 18:22

I would guess he is claiming ESA and saying he can't work due to his physical condition, hence the need for a crutch in medical type places.

He is very foolish putting a photo of him smoking on Facebook, not as foolish as then picking up and seeing the kids while stoned though.

gotmychocolateimgood · 28/03/2019 18:25

Place marking as name changed. A mum in my local fb group is asking for advice on starting mlm... Run for the hills I said.
