Just make sure you mention if it's relevant, useful, entertaining, misleading and offensive. Even if it's an ad with nothing offensive to it, make sure you write that you don't find it offensive if you see what I mean.

Give it a go there's the Nile community as well (link is in the academy) for specific questions.

Anyone else doing Nile and suddenly getting batches of 25 rather than 20? What happens then in terms of billing

What is Nile and what does it involve please

@WithAllIntenseAndPurposes Nile is a project on Leapforce where you rate ads on social media writing a short description of your thoughts on it. At the moment, Nile is closed to new applicants, but there's still lots of other projects to apply for.

Have you logged into Leapforce/been accepted? There's a list under 'all projects' of ones you can apply to and a description of what each one involves. Generally the summaries are pretty good.

@misstiggiwinkle no idea! Whatever you do, don't invoice for more than an hour or they'll reject it. Pop a message about it on the Nile social/support forum and email support directly to let them know

OK. Just done the Nile training. I needn't have worried!

Two more questions if I may? Do you record your times using an app or just do it on a spreadsheet, and if it took you longer than an hour do you submit that time or just the hour?

Do they email you when they've added you to the ratings tool?

DS has been at the hospital all day with DH after nursery realised it looked like his bits were inflamed 😩. He'd been up all night crying on and off, so I've been stuck at work knackered. Work was so horrendous I nearly told them to shove it thinking I'd use Crisp and Leapforce to support myself for a few weeks

My crisp login has arrived! But I think I'll be too busy trying to persuade DS to have his antibiotics to log on.

@margaritasbythesea invoice an hour as long as you've done 20 ads never put anything over! If less, charge 3 minutes per ad.

So I'm adding £240 to my £310 target. Unit is now replaced. Hopefully I'll be able to hammer it out of Crisp over the next few weeks to make it up.

I'd suggest, doing a really quick tally chart so you know how many tasks you've done, so you know you hit the 60 required

I did my first Nile today and it was fine. If you're dithering about whether to apply, I would recommend it.

Finished my crisp training thing and now waiting to do the test also.

Was frankly pretty disturbed at the idea of possibly encountering child abuse images while moderating tbh. It's made me wobble a bit as I can cope with all the gorey stuff but I really don't want to see something I can't unsee for scrappy money iykwim... Please other users tell me that they haven't seen anything like that!

@Fizzyboo I really don't want to sound harsh, I hope it doesn't come across that way, but in the case are you sure Crisp is for you? I think that's very much a key part of the job, Seeing and flagging up disturbing and upsetting content to protect other people from seeing it. It sounds so dramatic, and there's a lot of no risk content on there, but is it worth it if you're going to see something that's going to potentially upset you?

On the subject of Leapforce, I had the sudden though earnings might dramatically dip this month with Brexit and all that potentially knocking down the value of the pound 😩 hopefully I'm concerned about nothing, but it's been playing on my mind.

How's everyone getting on with their Crisp earnings?

Does anyone work for 'Arise' work from home? Just want to hear if you would recommend it before I buy any equipment
