This is the 45th thread in a long series about the dangers of network marketing/ MLMs such as Forever Living, Ariix, NuSkin, Arbonne, Younique, Valentus, TS Life, Monat, Stella and Dot, Tropic, various slimroast/weight loss coffee MLMs and MANY MANY more!
Posts here will give examples of the lies told by 'top bots' who portray luxury lifestyles in order to lure in new victims and of the other techniques and brainwashing used by MLMs.
The reality is that 97% of people who join an MLM end up LOSING money. Always bear that in mind when considering paying money to join!

Do they not realise that thanks to the internet their ludicrous claims can be checked and proved to be bullshit.

(not to mention photographic evidence eg. the Ricoh Arena claims of 1000s when there's always a few photos on "less practised at lying bots" pages that show empty seats and only half the room being used anyway)

Which is encouraging. "specifically chosen for it’s intimate atmosphere" reminds me of a great Spinal Tap quote... "their appeal is becoming more selective"

Talking of conflict between bots, I'm guessing it's deliberate that one other FL bot scheduled their own team training for the same weekend? (Even though some of their close associates were at the big training event).

Is everyone in FL UK in bloodsuckers downline? I mean she's been at it so long a lot will be but was she at one point literally the only person recruiting making her a kinda patient x?

If anything could persuade me that FL involves cult- like behaviour it would be videos from these 'training' events (or rallies); I have seen grown women on their feet, whooping and screaming and punching the air to the sound of loud repetitive music. Scary.

secondly, it would be the way bots have been persuaded to share photos of themselves online as 'before' pics as they embark on the C9. I am convinced that before they joined Forever Living, these women would never in their widest dreams have posted a photo on a public page of themselves with not many clothes on to show how they need to lose weight. It's self humiliation and they do it to show they are a member of the pack.

I've witnessed it at close quarters sponge, the results are indeed scary.

I thought the same thing, literally whooping and clapping on command. Then all standing up and worshipping the top 1% as they enter the stage saying you are blessed to be in their company.

Despite Messiah's protestations, it doesn't look like TS Shite is going all that well. The UK 'leaders' are going all out to prospect anyone and everyone, the new products promised now won't be out until March, and general consensus is that nobody wants to buy anything as it's too expensive (that unbeatable comp plan has to be funded from somewhere). There is also a shedload of product on eBay...

You don’t see much interaction between the top JP Bots on social media at all.

@tupperware no she is a Yorkshire girl, who seems to flit between being and another team (I think). She likes to get real.

I just found out that Stella and Dot are closing down in Europe and will stop trading in April. They will carry on in America. So many ladies are losing their only source of income.

Ah the Get Real -company- girl. She's a lo g-time FBO who never quite hit the big time. So many girls hanging on in there to turn things around but it's not happening. I'd love a dramatic FL and, to see how they justify it!

I have been reading some of these threads as I watch 2 minor acquaintances on the mlm road.
One is JP with the full buzzword bingo and the other has dabbled in FL and Body shop.
I remember when I was made redundant from a job (financial services)so anyone who works/has worked in that sector knows the hoops. I knew posting my cv online would open a Pandora’s box. Sure enough I was targeted by FL. I ended up temping a few years before calling it a draw.
I think the cult of mlm carries a film/drama theme.
The dark side-Star Wars/Game of Thrones/The Good the bad and the ugly/Shakespeare/Stepford Wives
Also end of the world/World domination/Zombie/vampire/Alien films.

What bothers me most is, if someone isn't trying to sell to methey assume I'm the one selling. What is it about me that screams "i sell random money grabbing shit to peopleand wish they were my bitches".

I would never join an MLM. But I look like I would. What should I wear to avoid being a target? I already wear an expression that says "Fuck off".

Interesting about stella and dot. A few of my fl bots had statuses today asking if anyone is a Stella and dot rep. Obviously looking to recruit them.

I used to do Stella and Dot and am still in some of the groups. A few of them do Tropic so they are all jumping on the posts with the amazing Tropic opportunity.
