This is the 45th thread in a long series about the dangers of network marketing/ MLMs such as Forever Living, Ariix, NuSkin, Arbonne, Younique, Valentus, TS Life, Monat, Stella and Dot, Tropic, various slimroast/weight loss coffee MLMs and MANY MANY more!
Posts here will give examples of the lies told by 'top bots' who portray luxury lifestyles in order to lure in new victims and of the other techniques and brainwashing used by MLMs.
The reality is that 97% of people who join an MLM end up LOSING money. Always bear that in mind when considering paying money to join!

@Doraexplorer99 am I right in thinking that a manager leg has to be in your own country to count towards Chairman's Bonus?

Uber has form (allegedly) for manipulating CCs and funding purchases etc via her team to ensure she is set for bonuses. There are screen grabs floating around, which have been sent to FL HQ - but they appear to have ignored them.

Yes, Dora, it is incredibly corrupt, and all part of the smoke and mirrors. As Arbunne says, Uber appears to have form for this.

I also heard that a certain Welsh up line bot was reported for signing up an inactive bot's down line under different names, also to up her CCs and legs.

This would also be against FLP rules (as are income and health claims), but as long as they are benefiting, they won't do anything about it. They need the 'poster girls' as much as the 'garage-qualifying' sales.

Has anyone listened to the podcast “Escaping NXIVM”? The media reporting around NXIVM was focused on the sex scandal, but this series looks in detail at the MLM/self-improvement/mindset side of it. The emotional manipulation, tricks and behaviours are exactly what is used by all the other MLMs out there. Cult-like, exploitative, creepy.

In other news, Messiah bot has just posted his most self-aggrandising bullshit for a while, replete with the triumph of Good over Evil and biblical references (to Himself).

I periodically check ironbot's FB page, she holds a certain grim fascination for me having been, as I understand it, the person ultimately responsible for recruiting an acquaintance of mine a couple of years ago. I read with interest the news on here about her 'business' going under. Noticed that today she's posted a video with some 'big news' on it, unfortunately over 20 minutes long so I couldn't bear to watch, don't suppose anyone else did & would be in a position to fill me in?

I had to laugh at the blatant fishing for new victims in the form of a poll that she posted on FB.

5 hours later and she's had 3 responses

Of course I was going to vote too but I couldn't find the "I think you're talking bollocks and I don't want to get involved in your scammy pyramid scheme" option.

I think if Yawn has got a bonus she will announce it today or maybe tomorrow, if she had she will use it to recruit more victims.

I thought getting managers was vital to getting chairman's bonus. The rules are so complicated, I'm guessing for a reason so it sounds like everyone is in with a shot. If she doesn't, or gets a sort low one, I wonder if that will affect her ability to pay back her huge discounts loan at the end of March. If she goes insolvent and they come after the house that will royally suck for her children. The animals will suffer as well, no rental accomodation will accept all those dogs so they would need to be rehomed.

Remember, that HO are in business to make $$$$ for themselves. ( As long as not too many people are impacted.) What's to stop them.........avoiding the normal rules, especially for poster children?

So last year one of her managers didn't get 600cc's or the rest of her down line didnt get 700cc's or she failed to get the 150 new business cc's. Which one is most likely? I'm guessing it's not the 700cc's as she qualified to go on the trip with at least 1500cc's. How many of her managers before this new one are active and working their business?

HO aren't going to care one bit. Buying your way to the bonus likely happens a lot if the bot can afford to do so. I'm guessing Yawn can't which is why she failed to qualify last year and it looks like she failed to qualify this year.
