Anti MLM/ Network marketing thread NUMBER 43!!

Spongebobette · 29/09/2018 18:17

This is the 43rd thread in a long series about the dangers of network marketing/ MLMs such as Forever Living, Ariix, NuSkin, Arbonne, Younique, TS Life, and MANY MANY more!
Posts here will give examples of the lies told by 'top bots' who portray luxury lifestyles in order to lure in new victims and of the other techniques and brainwashing used by MLMs
Over 90% of people who join an MLM end up LOSING money. Always bear that in mind when considering paying money to join!

Our Ladypreneur (Ex-Valentus, now back on the Valentus bandwagon) is claiming a £100k-plus income from MLM, plus a a global training “empire”.

I think we might be stretching it a bit describing it as an “empire”. And as for the Valentus income claims, she is previously on record for saying that her MLM income “vanished overnight” last autumn.

How perspectives change!

Apart from Uber and her sister - anyone got any idea who is going on the retreat? There hasn't been any other posts that I can see.

Model bot - one of Ubers main down lines has gone back to work. There really will be no one left at this rate to follow.

fitgirl26 · 05/10/2018 15:05

So Ladypreneur earned £100k this year AND last year but only recently gave up her job which involved long shifts and is still living in a small flat? Something doesn't quite add up...

ArbunneHun · 05/10/2018 15:54

Well quite @fitgirl.

But if you join her team/pay for her training you can be a big success too!

JasperRising · 05/10/2018 17:06

@Paddy1234 the been in it for decades, now focusing on Africa bot is also off on retreat and I think Castle's sister and some of their middle Eastern downline will be there.

ArbunneHun · 05/10/2018 18:45

The EMR Retreat is a whole 3 days, during which attendees get 4 whole hours of free time. Oh, and if you want to take your children with you, you have to not only cover the cost of their flights but also buy a Child Pass at a cost of $240 per child.

It sounds like hell.

@ArbunneHun 3 days and only 4 hours free over that 3 days?

Seriously?

Wow!

ArbunneHun · 05/10/2018 22:05

Yes, I found the itinerary on the FLP Global Events site. Obviously, you can do as Uber has done and travel out early, visit the Grand Canyon, go for a helicopter ride etc etc, but that’s on your own time and at your own cost. The retreat itself is just for 3 days and it’s all visits to aloe plantations/head office/the FL supplement factory. And 14-18:00 hours free time on day 2.

Whiterangey · 05/10/2018 22:49

Stockholm next year will definitely be very interesting, although most of the people on stage will be from South Africa who are currently having the kind of year the UK had in 2015, so their 2019 bonuses will be at the level of the UK in 2016.

Whiterangey · 05/10/2018 23:02

Why travel all of that way when you can get that kind of 'mindset training' right here in the UK?

It's all so pointless, travel all that way and not leave the confines of buildings.

JaniceBattersby · 05/10/2018 23:56

Castle’s side-business wing woman has asked people to buy FL deodorant because normal deodorant has been implicated in breast cancer cases. She posts the ‘science’ and everything. She’ll be donating all the ‘profits’ to charity.

How very altruistic of her Hmm

Obviously FL will also be donating its own profits from sales to the charity, and wing woman will be turning down the CCs she would be due for selling a shit load of deodorant. Because it would be wrong to profit from something that is dressed up as being for charity.

ArbunneHun · 06/10/2018 11:55

Looking forward to Stockholm in 2019, I noticed that the event will now finish for everyone on the Sunday, rather than running on until Monday for some chosen ones. Apparently, this was in response to feedback from bots who were keen to get back & work their bizniz - but I can’t help wondering whether this was actually a cost-cutting measure...

ArbunneHun · 06/10/2018 16:22

Sleaze is so stupid. He’s posted another one of his rambling, anti-semetic conspiracy posts, this time about the medical profession. Doctors are all controlled by the Rothschilds/Big Pharma and are incentivised to kill us - they are evil and to be avoided.

This from a man whose son suffered heart failure and whose life was saved by doctors and drugs developed by the pharmaceutical industry.

Good grief, even his own father commented that his theory was utter rubbish...

Whiterangey · 06/10/2018 16:47

I believe his son just had a heart transplant. The skill and education involved in that procedure, and the drugs his son will have to take for the rest of his life is extraordinary. That is without mentioning that there is a family out there who despite going through the unimaginable pain of losing a loved one decided to let their loved ones organs be used to save others.

He needs to show some respect to the medical profession who just saved his son's life.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 06/10/2018 18:31

Sleaze has also made clear his opposition to paying taxes (not that he's ever earned enough to fall into that bracket) - where the fuck does he think the money to save his son's life came from?

Spongebobette · 06/10/2018 19:00

He’s completely revolting on many different levels.

OP posts:
Norma27 · 06/10/2018 19:42

He is absolutely vile. How can he not realise who has paid to save his sons life. Wig and sleaze are the ones I believe deserve to actually face criminal charges for conning people.

SSDGM · 06/10/2018 20:40

He’s an entitled arsehole. He’s not a millionaire and he thinks he deserves to be one. No matter that he has no talent, a shitty attitude, no business sense and is physically repellent. His world is so tiny he thinks doing 6 return flights a year means he is some kind of jet setting entrepreneur.
He’s needs some sort of serious comeuppance and I hope it involves the government spending my hard earned tax money to keep him in prison where he can’t rip off anyone else.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 06/10/2018 21:06

What I would give to be a fly on the wall in the life of a (previously) enthusiastic, hard-working, desperate to make it bot.

Take Roomie for example. It wasn't that long ago that she was eating, living, breathing FL and so far up Yawn's arse it was cringy.

All of a sudden the constant desperate fb posts have slowed down ....there are days of silence even Shock.

She's now predominantly describing herself as a motivational speaker and author.

Not every waking moment of her day is documented anymore.

Her long suffering children and husband are no longer forced to be part of that charade.

Surely if the most botted of all bots is taking a step back then there must be hope.

FL is going down the shitter!

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 06/10/2018 21:07

Ditto MrsStickman ....a 2 week social media break?!

No serious bot would consider that surely?

Theyprobablywill · 06/10/2018 22:36

I've just been pissing around on the internet and I've found 'Young Living essential oils'. Is this linked to FL? They are based in Utah (where else?) and have a compensation scheme.

9dartfinish2nd · 06/10/2018 22:37

It's not just FL going down the shitter, i'm seeing all the signs of the same happening at Nu Skin. The industry is in terminal decline in the UK and it's panic stations for the top bots. Some stand to lose it all.

user1484830599 · 06/10/2018 22:54

Roomie as a motivational speaker makes me roar with laughter Grin

I do feel real sympathy for Mrs Stickman though. I hope her 2 week break gives her a wake up call.

Spongebobette · 06/10/2018 23:55

I feel sympathy for all the new sign-ups. They don’t know they are just the new blood for the vampires to suck. If they don’t bring in the CCs for their upline, either by flogging stuff to friends and family or buying stock themselves. they are no use and will be discarded
