WANTED: 12 lovely mums for a new book club

Hello, My name is Dominique, I am a keen reader and I just find this idea of a book club fabulous. I was too late for joining the last thread s I guess the best is to start a new one. I am a mother of 2 (3 years and a great reader of 12) My house is full of books (in french and english.....

Almost forgot - any news yet FC? I love waiting for baby news makes me feel all warm and cuddly inside.

Hi WTD my son has had a stomach bug again - always seems to happen when I have to read a book to send on so I haven't had any time to read. I should be ready to post by Saturday at the latest. Hope this is okay. If not let me know and I won't finish it and post it on.

HC1 Hope your DS feels better soon. I think it is WTD who is jinxed so that she doesn't actually get a book! Although I shouldn't say that too loud, cos I dont have a good track record with getting them here, either!

Haven't read the whole thread but suppose you've already got your 12 "lovely mums"? I live in French-speaking CH & would love to join a book club. Never done it before. Is there room for me? What are you reading?

btw, getting English books down here with amazon.co.uk is cheap as chips. No tax, no duty, just postage.

Cariboo - hello. We are well into month 3 now and although we did add a lady in on month 2 I think it would be a bit confusing now to add another in. I am really sorry to disappoint you. I hope there is another thread starting up that you will be able to join in with.

If anyone else has any ideas as to how we could add someone in, then feel free to let me know.
