A thread for all of us who were due in 2010 and who've bonded through the last few weeks.

It doesn't matter where your head/heart's at on this journey at the moment just as long as you want some company....

Hello girls :)

Hope the sun is shining for you too. Have been lurking on other posts so fingers totally crossed for Velvet and YRMOTB - def emotionally draining all this WTF! :(

Didn't make it to docs which I'm ashamed to post - things seem back to "normal" will need to see what the tampon situation (TMI) is like next AF and will DEF go and see them in white coats if the same.

Glad your "training" going well YRMOTB although when Loopy said that my first thought was SWI - my mind def spends too much time in the gutter!! lol

Hope you're hanging in there Loopy - can't imagine how difficult the days up to knowing how this ones going are for you but trying to be positive as you say is about all you can do.

How are you both Pink and Fordy? Also think of you - know we're all prob sitting with similar feelings/thoughts as time passes. Much love to you all x x

Velvetcu · 05/09/2010 11:55

Hello all

No new from me. Still spotting, no AF and still dont want to POAS coz I think AF is coming!

Any ideas which HPT is the most sensitive? And how many days after implantation I should get a BFP? Not that I'm getting my hopes up or anything.

McKTastic · 05/09/2010 12:09

Hey Velvet :)
Am def not the person to give advice re best HPTs - pretty new to all this too. Used clear blue first time which gave me a positive three days after my period was due (although hadn't tested before so not sure when positive wouldve shown IYSWIM) and confirmed with the digital one. In my poas -obsession- afterwards have used anything and everything! Know you didn't get a BNP till 7 weeks first time - lots of handholding from us if AF don't show and you start counting till then (fingers crossed)

Am sure Loopy will have some wisdom on the subject!

McKTastic · 05/09/2010 12:11

McKTastic makes mental note to stock up on Superdrug early tests before Velvet manages to clear out their stock (wink)lol

It'll be week of the 13th before you know it Loopy - I know bce it's our Sept week-end at the end of it (and am counting down!)

Hope you've had a lovely day out YRMOTB and enjoyed your eats with the family.

DP has been in maniac mode today - gardening; car washing etc etc I am at the complete opposite end of the spectrum and am eating anything and everything in sight (Oh to be the person with the willpower/body/get up and go I desire.....)Def Maybe by the time I am 40!!!

McKTastic · 05/09/2010 18:12

Meant a Wink for you Velvet !! Tis not a good day for me and ICT!!

Velvetcu · 05/09/2010 19:12

Thanks Loopy.

I'm definately gonna constantly think about put off POAS until next weekend at the earliest!

Have a good week everyone!

fordypops · 05/09/2010 22:01

Hello Lovelies,

IK amnot in a good place at the mo, as DP puts it my head is a shed!! Lots of crying at pregnant ladies and babies and my friend at work is coming up for 7 months and everyones noticing so trying to be positive for her but finding that really bloody hard. Esp when they all keep asking me when its going to be my turn...I just want to poke their eyes out! Wink annndddd my nans on the downward slope I think, she's not out of bed much now and her appetites next to nothing Sad Its all abit much if I'm honest.

Sending sooooo many positive thought for you both Loopy and velvet x x x x x

Hello to you too McKT and YRMOTB!!

I have been reading everyones posts buthavn't quite found the strength to post myself, it makes me ever so sad sometimes to come on and I think you don't want me being a misery, but today I felt stronger so here I am x x

Hey Fordy

Just a quick hello to you :) This is exactly the place to get some {{{{ }}}}s girl - Am sending you some from me for now.

You're not alone. Despite chatting about ttc etc I (and i'd hedge bets a number of us on here) often feel stuck in the zone of what this whole experience has done to me (and my relationship) It's bloody hard and seems like a battle especially when you're facing pregnant women on daily basis.

Am so sorry your nan is not doing so well - it's bound to be making this all the harder for you. :(

Can only believe that we will get through this one day at a time and hour by hour or less when we need to.

Wishing you lots of strength.

Take care x x x

Velvetcu · 05/09/2010 22:42

Big hugs from me too. The short post earlier was because DH got back a bit early from dog walking and he tells me off for being on here so much.

Other people asking questions about when it's your turn is soooo fucking annoying!! I really want to turn around and tell them the whole miserable truth but DH says we have to keep it private so I am quite rude when people ask and tell them I'm not interested in the conversation.

So please Fordy come on here and be miserable and moan and rant coz I am far from moving on so you are definately in good company!

youremindmeofthebabe · 06/09/2010 12:31

Hello all! fordy it's nice to hear from you, and I would echo everybody else's statements, we don't mind what kind of mood you're in, it's brill to hear from you. My mood is very variable too. I agree with mcktastic, this experience has far reaching consequences.

Today I should be mostly revising for exams (again). I have been on a 4 mile run this am, and tonight I am going spinning at the gym.. I am knackered.

here is sponsorship form again just in case!

Big love to you all, think my RTD is here,it's spotting at least, but am more upbeat than i was last week(that's the nature of the rollercoaster, eh)

xx

Pinkchampagne · 06/09/2010 13:19

Hello everyone, sorry I have been a bit quiet recently. I was back to work last Wed after the summer break & been feeling totally exhausted since! On my half day today.

Fordy - sorry you are feeling so low, but here is exactly the place to come for a bit of hand holding. I have been the queen of misery on here on many an occassion, so don't feel you have to be all jolly. We are all going through this horrible process together, and know all too well the sudden lows you go through. Really sorry to hear about your nan too.Sad

Sending lots of positive vibes to Loopy & velvet - I have my fingers crossed that all works out well for you both.

I am only a month away from my due date now, which of course is also DP's 40th birthday. I am worrying about it quite a bit. I so don't want to ruin his big day, but am scared I will. Wish the due date didn't clash with his birthday.Sad

On a positive note, DP has a buyer for his house, so fingers crossed all goes through ok.Smile

Pink - a buyer! :) :) Am really pleased for you and your DP. Fingers crossed it works out and you get into your dream home soon. I agree with Loopy re due date - time to sit down with your DP and agree what the date will involve. Know I've said before but our twins were due on my DPs bday too so know how you feel. Am planning doing something for them the eve before - know they would've been with us much earlier anyway - but can't predict how we'll feel on the actual day :(

That's bloody early Loopy! Glad you've a date though.

I will get round to sponsoring you YRMOTB promise! You sound v energetic! Spin class used to make me feel faint!

Hey Fordy - hope you're doing ok.

Evening Velvet - tell me you've not been to Superdrug!!! Grin Grin

youremindmeofthebabe · 06/09/2010 19:52

Velvet stay away from the sainsbury's own brands! they have evaporation lines the bastards.

How far will you be aon the 14th loopy?

Am glad you have a buyer pink, that must feel like at least a little progression. These things are so farsical, aren't they. I think loopy's idea was a good one, perhaps something nice to mark the date, a nice meal for the two of you the day before? No pretences or fronts for anybody.

fordy- people who know about my MC have asked when I'm having anotherShock. It took all my might to not point out that I had one. People just forget so easily, and we never do.

velvet anything? Fx for you.I've had one or two wipes of brown, and then nada. Just get on with it, body, I think it's a bit off for my body to give me a mmc and then have the audacity to fuck up my cycles as an added kick in the teeth! meh.

fordypops · 06/09/2010 21:48

Awww thanks you lovely lovely people, I know I can come here and I do feel bad that I am not much support to any of you as you are all going through it too, but here I am and thank you you are all amazing!!

Very impressed with your training efforts YRMOTB, I am back to exercising again to, I just need to fully address the food issue and I may actually see results.Wink

Glad you have a date Loopy, will be thinking of you x

I hope you come up with a nice plan for your due date/birthday pink, the right thing will come along for you to do I am sure. Exellent news about the buyer, everything crossed for you there x

Velvet you are completely right, i seem to turn into someone I don't recognise and almost bite their heads off telling themI am just not interested right now.

Thanks McKT to, Yo are right, I don't know how I move on from this person thats had a miscarriage to being normal me again. I think what you said in an earlier post is true, until I have a baby of my own maybe I never will, although right now I am just not ready to try again.

McKTastic · 06/09/2010 22:48

Just want to clarify in case you think I've gone weird LOOPY - I meant the TIME of your scan was early (not the stage you're at in this pregnancy) Blush Blush

Really lovely to hear from you all xx

Booooo AF arrived in a really evil mood this morning! Lots of it and v. painful!

Think I'm gonna chill out with the TTC a bit coz last month was too stressful. I'm not gonna be "safely" PG by due date now so I may as well stop trying so hard.

I'm glad in one way that I've had a normal cycle but completely gutted too. I want my baby!!! Grrrr so shite.

Work is stressful too - will catch up properly and tell you all about it but I have to go out for a meal now coz Nan goes back home to Spain tomorrow. Really cant be arsed with it.

fordypops · 08/09/2010 20:55
