A thread for all of us who were due in 2010 and who've bonded through the last few weeks.

It doesn't matter where your head/heart's at on this journey at the moment just as long as you want some company....

Hello all

Have had a tearful couple of days and then one of the blokes at work asked me today if I was thinking about having kids soon even though he knows about the MMC!!!

It's so annoying that there is nothing to be done about the emptiness. Got stupid emails from Mumsnet and Bounty club saying "congrats you are 26 weeks pregnant"!!!

Sorry to be miserable, just need to give myself a kick up the arse and get on with it.

Hope things are going well for everyone. Good luck at the EPU Loopy if I'm not on again before then.

Hey velvet. has the RTD kicked in? mine was making me feel really tearful a day or two ago, I am sure the moods and emotions get worse the older I get Sad Sorry you have insensitive peeps at work, am sure work traumas will be exacerbating the trauma, but try not to let it get to you, you can always vent on here. ((hugs))

loopy you've got a cycle of squits going on there! hoping you and DH have avoided the worst so far.

waves to fordy mckt and pink. hope you're well, it's nearly the weekend!

youremindmeofthebabe · 09/09/2010 19:23

:( Loopy - Huge respect to you and how calm you are coming across as. If we're being absolutely factual then there's nothing you can do except wait till Tues - still sending you LOTS of hugs (and extra strength reserves if you find yourself wobbling during the wait) we're all TOY

Think I've ANOTHER infection :( :( Def going to see Doc next week- third cycle where it's been like this :( have had antibiotics but at a loss as to WTF is going on!

Off for curry with good friends :)

Hope rest of your working week picked up Velvet :)

oh Loopy, I'm sorry. YOU sound calm and In a good space but I'm thinking of you and sending big hugs anyway x

Pinkchampagne · 10/09/2010 21:40

So sorry, Loopy.Sad Thinking of you. x

Velvetcu · 11/09/2010 14:54

Glad you are calm Loopy but sorry that you are having to contemplate another MC. I'm sure that we are all experts in early PG by now and know that everything can still be fine despite bleeding but it's just more stress and worry that you can do without. Defo TOY and hoping everything is ok.

I'm knackered! AF has finished (pretty quick one!)so on towards another few weeks of SWI although not with too much focus on the I. Starting to plan more big trips so that I can convince myself that it doesnt matter if I'm not PG by easter coz a trip to Japan wouldnt be so easy then. Hopefully chilling out about it all will work wonders!

Hope everyone else is ok. I had another friend announce her PG on facebook this week. Of course I had to congratulate her but now I get notifications when everyone replys to the post!

Have a good Saturday evening. I had a few vodkas last night and will have a bottle of wine tonight - got to get it all in on this pre-ov weeknd!

Good luck for it loopy. It's not going to help at all having to go to the same place again, but be strong. was it just that one episode of bleeding? am not going to dwell on what-if's, you will know more after the scan, and I am truly positive on your behalf. ((hugs)) and the best wishes in the world.

McKTastic · 13/09/2010 17:55

Hey Loopy - Hope you've got through the day ok so far. Will be very hard thinking about tomorrow - sending you lots of strength and keeping everything crossed that the wee glimmer of hope that keeps cropping up shines brightly for you and all's well. You know we're all thinking of you xx

Hope you've not had too much of a hangover fallout from your week-end Velvet! Am v impressed you seem pretty sure of when you'll ovulate - I've been poas for last three months and have had smileys at days 12,14 and 16 (probably bce I'm so ttc stressed! :( )

So I went to Docs today - they (had to see nurse too) took all sorts of samples which wasn't very pleasant (def cruel reminder of last time that was done so am very empathic with your concern re tmrw Loopy) Get results next week. On penicillan till then :( They did a preg test too (I wasn't due to do one till this week-end) which came back negative :( :( Am gutted (again!) Doc said it was be pretty accurate (and seemed annoyingly happy about this - men! also frustrating when you see a different doc everytime!)Cue indulgent buying - crisps; LOTS of chocolate and some mumsnet baby/pregnancy books (Tesco have bygof at the mo!)And I take it GP is right? That the super duper tests they have would be positive about 10 days after dtd?!?

Is it just me or can you no longer see page nos on threads? Have had to manually scroll to the end - very diff on a mobile!!

Hello YRMOTB; Fordy; Pink :) :) TOY xx

fordypops · 13/09/2010 20:20

Hello lovelies...Thinking of you for tomorrow Loopy

Did you have a good weekend velvet???

McKT not a pleasant day for you, I think you fully deserve allllll the chocs and crisps you can manage with absoloutly no guilt whatsoever. Its a shame you can't see the same doctor everytime, mine was brill and she somehow managed to fit me in whenever I needed her, can you ask to see the one you like the most??

YRMOTB how are you?? and to you to Pink how are you today??

I am far from good, my nan is really not good, I am feeling very sad and the lack of control with whats going on is a cruel cruel reminder of my mc Sad I don't want to lose her but I want her back now.

McKTastic · 13/09/2010 20:35

Page nos "problem" seems to have fixed itself!!!

Have eaten three bags of crisps and two giant bars of chocolate - Giant Milky Bars which are extremely sickly tasting but remind me of being little (or that glorious age when Mum and Dad let me go up the town on my own and I used to buy them in Woolies!!!)

Our GP surgery has bizarre appointments system - if you request a specific doc it can take 2/3 weeks to be seen (not ideal if you might have an infection!)

Am really sorry your Nan's not doing too well Fordy. Will be a difficult time for you and your family and one which as you say may remind you of what's not within our control :( :(

TOY xxx

How you tonight Loopy? Try and get some sleep x

McKTastic · 14/09/2010 11:54

Have been checking threads for last few hours for your news Loopy! Shock read your pregnancy thread - will be thinking of you over next two weeks - sending you the appropriate emotions virtually (won't add them for now) so you can tell the others yourself.

Have been off work for few days - abdomen very tender but head worse! Will be relieved to get AF if that calms things down - it's too easy to worry about what could be causing it all :( :(

great news loopy, I'm just passing through, back when things with my nan have calmed down alittle, although thats not looking likely as she is now being sedated slightly Sad

back soon xx

Cadmum · 15/09/2010 04:22

Yeah Loopy!

I really hope that things continue to go well and that it is smooth sailing for the next 8 months.

Hello to everyone else.

Sorry that I seldom have time to post here. I do try and read through now and then.

I feel raw and emotional again mostly because we are going on 'home' leave in two weeks and that entails facing family and friends for the first time since our latest loss.

I acknowledge that there is no 'proper' way to handle the situation for my relatives but I am already anticipating which ones won't say anything at all and which ones will choose to make negative comments about how it was a probably just as well since we already have SO many children.

I wish we didn't have to deal with this at all. In an alternate reality, I should be worrying about such a long flight with four children and a 4 month old baby...

That and the fact that I feel as though my insides were not reassembled properly after the c-section is consuming far too much of my time and energy.
