A thread for all of us who were due in 2010 and who've bonded through the last few weeks.

It doesn't matter where your head/heart's at on this journey at the moment just as long as you want some company....

Different circumstances but I had a v confusing AF last month - spotting then nowt for ten days then spotting then nowt for three days then AF proper. Was really confusing. Being a woman is pants sometimes. No consolation but we're all TOY LOOPY. Take Care x

I hope this is the start of a happy ending Loopy :) Congrats again - everything crossed for you!

Ok - me me me warning but need advice. Have had three periods since the loss. Used a tampon first one but felt "stingy" so spent rest of it in San towels (yuk!) ; second one v sore stomach pains beforehand / during and same prob with tampons so went to doc. Suspected uti - got anti biotics - cleared up a bit. Third and most recent period had a v unusual start - spotting, nothing for ten days then spotting then finally period type bleeding as "normal". Same prob with tampons / sore when I wiped 'down below' . Drank cranberry juice in case uti - didn't notice it much for a few days. Now v sore when I wipe / feels stingy at other times :( stomach still churning for Britain. Was almost convinced I was preg before this 'period' but bfns didn't test in between spotting/ proper bleed or since. Any ideas? We're now on cycle three. Every time I wonder if it's worked, gone wrong and the pains/discomfort are the upshot? Is it ok to ttc withpossible infection? God this is so complicated!

How was the party velvet? Did you drink or load in the end!?

Hopeeveryone else well. Am going to try and see GO this week!
E Is it ok to ttc if there's an infection? Can't beleve how complicated this I'd

McKTastic · 29/08/2010 09:19

Bastard phone!! Apologies for the end of that one - meant to say. .

How was party Velvet. Did you drink or poas in the end?

Hope everyone else is ok. Am going to see GP this week.

End of message - omit rest!

That'll teach me not to switch pc on! X x

Velvetcu · 29/08/2010 11:14

Congrats Loopy I'm soooooo happy for you :)

Party was good thanks McKT - I did drink a bit. We had cocktails so lots of fruit juice in mine and I took the role of hostess (even though it was at my sisters house!!) so it was a good excuse for not having a drink in my hand.

You definately need to see the Dr - I didnt have problems using tampons even though they had lacerated my cervix so you need to get checked out. I know that UTIs are a cause of MC so maybe its best not to ttc until you know.

McKTastic · 29/08/2010 12:28

Doubt I'd have any scarring etc as loss was all natural. Our final scan also showed all clear. It's not inserting t's that's the prob but when they come out feels odd and wiping sometimes the same. Def going back to docs this week :( :( am now in the paranoia zone of thinking I now have fertility affecting infection, kidney failure or cervical cancer!!! Sometimes an imagination (and access to google!) ain't a good thing!

Glad you enjoyed the party Velvet. Look forward to hearing where the next few days take you!

Velvetcu · 29/08/2010 19:57

I'm not hopeful about this month - got PG first time trying before so I just know it wont be so easy for us again! I'm expecting to be the last woman standing on the TTC thread!

How are we all? Having a good bank holiday weekend I hope.

Velvetcu · 30/08/2010 19:49

Hello All! Back again, and very chuffed to hear that you're still cooking loopy!

Did you all have a nice weekend? I went cmping at a festival, only a small one, with ds dp and my bro and another pal. Was good, if an ickle cold.
I wouldn't worry about being the last woman standing velvet, it took us effectively 3 years of not using contraception in order to get pg this time. I am a little more militant this time though. Hasn't done me anygood so far like, I'm on day 33 of a 31 day cycle..

How are you mcKt? infection clearing up? I have had a fair bit of almost thrush this last 2 months. I feel your pain.

Hope everyone else is ok.

Velvetcu · 31/08/2010 17:14

Just SWI for me Loopy although I bought some cheap OPKs today (£2 for 5!) just to check that I am actually ovulating. AF wouldnt be a bad thing really coz at least it shows everything is properly back to normal.

I dont want to get carried away with it but I did want to be "properly" PG by due date. Doesnt look like that will happen now so I think that will take the pressure off a bit tbh.

Had loads of people at the party asking when I'm having babies, especially when I was holding my niece. Snapped at my cousin so then had to tell her the whole story - she cried her eyes out! Why can't people mind their own business! I even told one nosey parker that I didn't ever want to have kids so she started giving me a lecture about that!

How are you McKT? Hope the Dr has sorted you out.
