Empty sac

Initially found at a private clinic sat and again today epu I have an empty sac no embryo inside. (6+6) Going back in a week to get re scan & my options anyone also going through this if you are maybe we can go through it together

I'm feeling ok definitely don't feel pregnant?! It's odd I somehow strangely expect even the sac to have gone by Tuesday and to miss this miscarriage & bleeding all together! We shall see 🤷🏼‍♀️

I feel preg in the sense that still getting bloated, bit of nausea, sore boobs and hormones are all over - I know none of that really matters but still makes me feel preg!

A part of me feels the same as u - in the next scan they find NOTHING! Lol

Hi both,

Feeling a bit Meh today and really quite tired. Most likely following my all day outing yesterday 🙈

All through this pregnancy I’ve had on and off mild cramping. The last 3/4 days I’d say I’ve had barely any.. which is actually worrying me more as at least that might indicate ‘something’ is happening.

I still have sore breasts but the progesterone is doing that. Never had sickness in pregnancy so symptom wise the only difference is lack of cramping now.

Just want to fast forward now and get my body back.. Partner is committed to trying again as soon as possible. All my previous miscarriages I have caught again pretty quickly after so I might get lucky.

Although I have also aged 5 years and in fertility terms I’m well past my peak!

Never wished the weekend would go so quickly 😩 x

Did you get your hair done?

Weather was beautiful today so we had a day out today but when I got home I just felt drained. Err

I had cramping a week or so ago for around 2 days and that is it.. but then people have that if they preg is going well aswell!

Fingers crossed u do get preg again and we all meet again on this thread hah! I would love to know how your journeys get along.
I think i'm going to have a break this time before trying again - this has been a real emotional rollercoaster.

It's half term hols for the kids so they've kept me on my toes. They go back on Wednesday which is when I can go back to fully worrying about this again. Hah! Lol

I couldn't feel you more! I felt so guilty the shine been taken off my daughter while all this has been going on. I'm definitely needing a break too and what I don't need now is a viable pregnancy. I'd made my Peace after several '0 in there' i is need a month or 2 to collect my thoughts and then re evaluate my situation ect. I loveumsnet for this because we definitely tell it how it is!!!! X

You described exactly what I'm feeling right now. I would not say that to anyone in real life ever! Lol
I've mentally accepted the reality and I need to move on now.

Hi both,

Yes I got my hair done and felt so nice, didn’t feel guilty at all. Had several drinks on Saturday and again didn’t feel guilty just a little sad maybe.

Feeling nervous about Weds even though I’ve pretty much accepted my fate too.

I sadly don’t have the luxury of time, we weren’t really trying before just not preventing. That’s why it was so much of a shock, but not it’s happened we both would love to be blessed with another.
If I were a few years younger I would definitely wait a few months, it’s such an emotional drain.

I'm glad you had a good time :-) I guess it's natural to feel so many emotions at once in a situation like this!

Aww no! I feel for you, well I hope you do get preg again and quickly and it goes well :-) You just never know what your future holds.

I had 3 children - healthy pregnancies etc. And now I've had 5 miscarriages and then this preg that's also going wrong. Life is so unpredictable - sometimes things happen with no explanation or control!
I believe what's written for you, can never miss you and what's not for you, you will never get.

Sac still empty reduced in size to 17mm so I'm all swabbed/blood taken booking in for surgery in next 2 days what a relief they were finally able to call it.

Hi, I’d say sorry to hear that but I know by now that’s probably the news you were waiting for so it’s a relief for you I imagine that you’ve finally got an end in sight.

Still very sad though but I know how much of a relief it must be.

Omg I'm sad but relieved for you aswell because the last few weeks have been horrible! I'm so glad you can finally get the procedure and move on.

Have they sent you home now? I don't think I'll get the procedure, I'm petrified! I would prefer the tablets they insert.

I’ve had medical management, surgery D&C and the others were natural.

Cant say any were better or worse tbh. Everyone’s circumstances are different, when I had the D&C I was due to fly out on holiday a week or so later so they had to fast track me then get a special letter to authorise me to fly and I literally only got that the day before we flew!

Oh wow! That was really last min with the holiday but worked out well for you :-)

Did you not have any side effects after from the d&c?

@bluebutterfly8 yes it was quite a stressful time I remember.

I bled quite a bit after on my next period, 10/11 days and a longer cycle but the next one came back as it normally would.

D&C in June, period came back July, got pregnant again in Sept (early loss) then again in Dec (blighted ovum) then pregnant with my daughter in the March x

That sounds like a right rollercoaster! I'm so sorry! We're so strong, aren't we - go through so much and are still strong at the end of it :-)

What would you prefer to have this time if things don't go right!

@Itonlytakesone @bluebutterfly8 I always seem to have drama around my miscarriages,

1st one I was also due to go on holiday celebrated a birthday on the beach after just having a miscarriage 😢

The one I’ve just mentioned about being touch and go for flying and this one….

My best friend has gone though IVF multiple times including donor eggs and it didn’t work. She also split up with that partner after he cheated on her now she’s single and most likely won’t have children.

So I haven’t told her after the results of my 1st scan because it would really upset her.

A few days after I found out I was pregnant I was driving to the hospital after work to pick up my progesterone and a car went into the side of me! So I’ve had to claim through my insurance which wasn’t my fault but still my premiums have gone up, and it was a brand new car only has it 2 months. Never had an accident before either!!

Should have taken that as an omen shouldn’t I 🙈 x

@bluebutterfly8 i think I’d like to either miscarry naturally or medical management.

But probably medical management as it could take a while for my body to realise its not progressing, some women get to their 12 week scan!! Plus I have a holiday booked mid July 🙈

I wouldn’t chose D&C if I had the option not to because having a second one may slightly increase the risk of scaring and we do want to keep trying no matter how slim the chances x

It’s just so cruel isn’t it, It’s completely understandable to feel like that.
I really hope the Op goes well and you recover quickly! Our bodies are extremely resistant and hopefully you’ll be feeling a little more like yourself soon.

That’s really good that they got you in so quickly, Once I get the confirmation tomorrow I’ll just want it over with as soon as possible. X

My midwife app was on 25 May.. the midwife rang me to say there's no point having a app after the last scan so she'll keep an eye on future scans :/ :-0 so insensitive! Lol

You're both right iv got this far just this final step. It's tough but I'm not on my own iv got you guys we can do this. I think when my hormones have settled and my stomach is back to normal I'll be ok just need a bit of normality back because this has been going on since April🫤
