Ovulation after miscarriage?

I had a MMC nearly two weeks ago. Miscarried naturally. Took a pregnancy test today which is negative however my opks is positive. Does this mean I'm ovulating already as theres no HCG now for it to pick up?! I'm also still spotting on and off. Any help would be great.

@jellyfish2 I'm so sorry for your loss and subsequent management...
it's so hard isn't it..?

Good luck on the next step of this journey... take your time ( I know it doesn't always feel like it's on our side)
Oddly enough just this week I applied for the baby loss certificates - not really thinking I'd want them but my hands just started doing the work on the website and I realised I really did want them! Maybe this is something that will help healing in the future...?
Honestly I still think about them so so often. Grief isn't linear...

@Skl2021 and I still catch up every so often too :) it was definitely a rollercoaster 🎢 x

@Doodledeedum thank you, it's so hard but I feel more positive reading stories like yours. I'll always feel sad thinking about our little one that never made it. I'm in Scotland so I think the certificate has been in place since last year, I will actually have to apply.

It's so nice to hear you both keep in touch 🥰
Everything really does happen for a reason in my mind, although it's not always clear or easy to understand why.

@jellyfish2 ... I feel the same way too now in hindsight. But it's not always the said thing for everybody...
I feel very torn at times actually because I know my little one is meant to be here but she wouldn't be if it wasn't for my losses. Quite mind bending but it is what it is. I wish you all the best in this journey.. really really do. It's one of the hardest things I've ever done but oh my goodness the result is heart bursting stuff ❤️ please keep us posted. Good and bad, we're here for you! X

@Doodledeedum I completely understand your feelings, it really is difficult. Thank you so much 🩷

Doodledeedum · 24/03/2024 23:27

@jellyfish2 how are you doing? X

jellyfish2 · 25/03/2024 07:20

@Doodledeedum I'm doing ok thanks. I did end up ovulating but today I just got my period which I have mixed feelings about. It's lighter than it used to be but I wonder if it'll get heavier. I was hoping I'd get pregnant straight away but maybe it's not meant to be just yet and will prevent dating anxiety having a period first. How are you doing? How's your little one? X

Doodledeedum · 25/03/2024 07:39

Oh I'm sorry. Those milestones are hard but as you say- the dating will help with some of the anxiety
Little one is good. ABSOLUTELY keeping me on my toes and up every night ( I have a multiple times a night waker upper 😮‍💨) x

@Doodledeedum my son was like that until just before he turned 1! The lack of sleep is awful but does get better 😅
