Ovulation after miscarriage?

I had a MMC nearly two weeks ago. Miscarried naturally. Took a pregnancy test today which is negative however my opks is positive. Does this mean I'm ovulating already as theres no HCG now for it to pick up?! I'm also still spotting on and off. Any help would be great.

In the conversation I just had with the doctor- she only called to say that's what they found - it didn't occur to me to ask what else they found
Recurrent miscarriage clinic will be happening after this so I'm assuming they'll do more scans and tests now ...

Il put from just before I was due on till about a week after
I over lapped two tests as my frer stick was finished and I needed to see progression

I was due on the 8th jan

Only allows three at a time

@Doodledeedum thankyou so much! Seems u were getting great lines on the strip tests! Maybe I need to get them instead of frer. I ran out of them at 11 dpo so I couldn't see the progression. X

Last time strip tests let me down this time as u can see I had a fainter line a day after the last on FRER. It really let me down this time!!

@Doodledeedum I think I should stop testing but I feel like I can't. 😩 I have never been this anxious! I'm scared of everything. I'm out of tests now but I'm desperate for more. Do you feel any better now your further on? Xx

@Kylie7 sorry to hear about your miscarriage ♥️ hope your doing ok. It's a horrible thing to go through. I think I ovulated around 3 weeks after my miscarriage but I chose not to try again that month as I wanted to wait until I had a period. I fell pregnant three month after my miscarriage and I currently have a 5 week old little boy! So don't give up hope! Hopefully u will get your rainbow baby too! 🌈 X

@Kylie7 I'm so sorry for your loss. After my MCs I also waited for a period before I started tracking again - I needed to have a break mentally and also not to put added pressure of second guessing dates etc .I too got pregnant on the third cycle. Both times actually...
I think it does your body some good too ( personally) my first periods after were very heavy.
Well after a lot of palava ( they were wrong I wasn't miscarrying !!) I'm laying next to my little ( almost 10 week old) bubba.
I know it's hard to remain positive right now and remember you can grief and feel some type of positive for the future at the same time ( I sure did), but take your time, look after yourself and give yourself some love and care... and hope you get your rainbow soon 💐

Hi everyone. I’m not sure if anyone is still on this thread? I had surgical management for my miscarriage 10 weeks ago. I had bleeding for 5 weeks afterwards and doctors believe this probably went straight into a period. I used the dates of the end of the bleeding which would mean I was due AF 14/11/2022. That day I have a VERY light bleed, and then nothing the rest of the day. The next day I had the exact same thing and nothing else. This week I started tracking my ovulation. I had a positive strip test and peak smiley on the Monday. Today (Thursday) I had the exact same thing. Has anyone experienced this? Today I would only be CD 8. I didn’t think I could have ‘peak’ for 4 days straight?

@Sophiey11 is there any possibility you could be pregnant? And that period u thought u had was implantation bleed? I got positive ovulation tests when I was pregnant? I do remember when TTC I did have one month were I had days of peaks for some reason? But yours seems a bit early? Miscarriage can mess up your cycles though x

@Skl2021 i did a test earlier and there was a super super faint line. I think it was just an indent line though as the strip tests were negative. We have been ttc but only this week have I had any positive ovulation tests. So I don’t think I could have got pregnant along the way xx

@Sophiey11 I'm not quite sure then. It could be your body just trying to get back to normal after the miscarriage. Might be a bit all over the place. Guess just keep testing and see what happens? If the peak drops or if u get another one at your usual time? Sorry I can't be much help. There definitely positive tho! So something must be happening X

i did another strip test today and it still looks positive! HCG test is still negative though. So really confused xx

@Sophiey11 maybe your body is just trying to regulate itself again. Or your having a mega surge 🤣🙈 I know I had it for one month and I don't know why 🤦 it was just days of peaks! Keep on testing and see what happens 🤞 good luck this month if your trying ❤️ x

@Skl2021 @Doodledeedum I was reading this thread with so much dedication and so happy to read that you both got your babies!! I was sad to see you thought you were miscarrying @Doodledeedum so I'm glad it all worked out 🥰 I had surgical management 3 weeks ago today but only started testing complete negative on pregnancy tests a few days ago so patiently waiting to ovulate. The lh tests were positive last week when I still had an ever so faint line on HCG tests so I presume that's what they were picking up. I hope so anyway!
