Warning photo! Is this a miscarriage or a big blood clot

So so so sorry for photos - I've been bleeding for weeks - honestly can't even remember the last time I had sex (1 year old in bed with us hehe). I've had some small clots - but this one just come today-
I was on antibiotics last week because when I contacted the doctors about the clots and a smell they said it was Bacterial vaginosis which I had a few years back so I knew it was the same- anyway this has just happened. I have had a closer look- can't see any 'form' of a child or little bones etc..
what do people think? Xx

Did you ever find out if you were pregnant!? It looks like a fetus unfortunately 😭 My fiancé and me used condom and I got pregnant ( positive test) but had miscarriage the day after.. so sometimes we women really have to be careful!

I had a positive pregnancy test and then a negative the day after?? I have never been so bloated before and completely nausea for 4 weeks since the test. I suddenly had sharp pain like I never had before, I was bleeding so much and this came out.. I have only have blood cloths the first day of period, but this was every time I whipped clothes came out and then 3 of these big ones.. my doctor also said I have gallstone, so I’m confused if I have even been pregnant even tho the test was very positive

hello, I had a really bad pelvis pain for about a day it was pretty strong, two days later got a period bright red blood.. just today morning wiped and I’m wondering if this was a miscarriage or a blood clot ? graphic/ sensitive photos

@Acinndyy i had very similar clots passing and I’m currently 37 weeks pregnant and all has been fine!
but definitely get a scan from early pregnancy unit at hospital. I had 2 - one at 6 weeks and another at 8 weeks to check on progress

Hi! If you’re soaking blood through a pad within half an hour or if it’s a deep red colour then you should just take yourself to A&E to get yourself checked especially since it’s accompanied with some cramps.

my own experience so you get an idea; at 10 weeks pregnant 13/11/2023 I started getting some very light pink blood as I wiped which I blamed on spotting. As the days progressed the cramping got worse and the blood got a little more red. I spoke to my local maternity ward and since the bleeding wasn’t heavy they assured me that I’d be okay to wait until my appointment which was on the 23rd. I woke up on the 22/11/2023 with the most intense lower cramps and as I got out of bed realised there was a pool of blood. I rushed to the toilet and my bedtime pad which is the thickest you can get was soaked, I did a wee and immediately felt this bizarre sensation of a jelly blob pop out of my vagina and into the toilet, quickly accompanied by 2 more. I’ve never been pregnant before but I knew this wasn’t normal. I got ready and took myself to A&E, by this point I’d bled through 3 heavy flow pads and my cramping was excruciating. They had me waiting to be seen for far too long (nhs cuts.) by this point i went to the toilet and passed another jelly like clot that looked just like your picture but twice as large. - It wasn’t blue or clear, the way people are making out every miscarriage should be. These clots looked like thick chunks of blood with the worst smell ever. I started losing alot of blood and they rushed me in for an emergency scan and bloods, the scan showed that the “chunks/clots/blobs” was a miscarriage and that was the fetus coming out of my body. You couldn’t see anything in each clot. I now have to deal with this painful heavy bleeding whilst my body attempts to clear the rest out which if isn’t successful in a few days I have to go for a d&c. Just wanted to share my own experience that literally happened today.
I wonder if I had of taken myself to A&E when the bleeding first started could I of prevented this terrifying ordeal.

Hey wowers16.! I'm dealing with the same thing that you had. I have been bleeding for two weeks now. The first week I thought was just my regular period being that I keep track every month and like clockwork my period came on the 20th. I had a normal period flow and then it stopped two days after my period stopped I started bleeding again but this time it was extremely heavy. I didn't think much of it I thought my period just started up again. But then the next day it was even heavier with blood clots the size of a golf ball. I thought I was having a miscarriage. I went to the emergency room and they gave me two pregnancy test urine and blood they came back negative. I am bleeding so much that I change pad every 30 minutes with clots. The biggest clot Ive passed was about the size of a 8 lb baby. Anyways so at the emergency room they tell me that the ultrasound that they did came back that i have fibroid 1.5 centimeters big. So they referred me to a gyno. The next morning I called the gyno and scheduled an appointment of course they couldn't see me til a week later. In the mean time I'm still bleeding extremely. Started feeling weak and lightheaded but what do I do I've done been to ER twice and have a appointment to specialist in a few days so I just wait and wait counting down the days for this gyno appointment. So here comes the day of the gyno appointment and I walk in and they call me back and I'm still bleeding and still passing clots. The doctor comes in and tells me that the fibroid isn't causing me to bleed and that fibroids don't cause bleeding and clots. He tells me he doesn't know whats wrong with me and doesn't pap smear while I'm bleeding heavy and while he was down there a blood clot pop out on him. And he still acted like there wasn't nothing seriously wrong with me. He prescribe me progesterone and some other pill thats supposed to stop the bleeding but that doesn't figure out the problem that's causing me to f bleed and spit out blood clots the size that they are so I don't know what to do but I'm scared to death.

5 weeks pregnant, last night started bleeding and today terrible cramps, bleeding and then i passed this. Does it look like a miscarriage tissue or maybe something else?

When I miscarried at 12 weeks there was a distinct sac so a firm oval but so that's the only clue I can give you ladies. If it's random shape and size it's possibly more likely just a bloody big clot (literally). Obv just my experience x

Hi at exactly 6 weeks I started to get light brown spotting that continued for a week, at exactly 7 weeks I started bleeding heavily but didn’t have any cramping. I went to the bathroom and felt a need to push and this came out. It looks like it is the baby but I didn’t think it would be that big at just 6/7 weeks. I think it is a miscarriage though i just wanted to ask anyone else’s opinions?? I have a scan in 2 days but it is driving me crazy not knowing for sure ! xx just wanted confirmation maybe from someone because im in denial

Years ago when i was sexually active by 18 i was a week or so late and my right lower side tingled and felt wrong. I was not on my period but passed a hug clot like it was starting to form something . I looked at it for a while before flushing. Did not bleed after that until about a few days later. It look like the color of liver😫

I think I'm currently going through a miscarriage and was just looking for some advice.

Last Sunday I woke with light bleeding which has been continuous for over a week getting slight heavier but not soaking through pads. On Thursday, I went for a scan and could see baby hearts beating. They estimated I was about 6 weeks + 4 but obviously this isn't 100% accurate given how early I am. They couldn't find any cause for the bleeding either. Fast forward to Sunday and I went for a walk. I had been experiencing dull cramping with a few small clots. That evening I went for a shower and had a HUGE clot come out (picture attached). This is probably the only big clot I've had and I'm terrified I'm having a miscarriage now.

I am due to have a scan on Thursday, but I'm just besides myself in regards to waiting until Thursday.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i had massive clots passing every 15/20 mins or so , I was going through a pad every 20 mins for about 10 hours straight!! I was actually sent to A&E because of the amount of blood loss I had. Finally I passed a massive clot that was much bigger than the one in your pic - it looked like a liver! Then my bleeding stopped so I was convinced I’d miscarried. At my first scan I was around 6 weeks and it looked how a pregnancy should look at the start. no heartbeat yet, but this was normal. I was booked in for another scan 2 weeks later and all was fine! My baby is currently 3 months old and doing great.

I don’t mean to scare you but it might be worth researching blood clotting and Covid vaccinations. There is a lot of research now being done on it with some helpful advice.

Warning .. graphic photo. I started bleeding a lot on Saturday Nov 9th and the ER said it was a miscarriage and everything was already out of my uterus. On Nov 12th I had another ultrasound and everything was still all cleared out they said but after the appointment I passed this. I'm wondering is the baby inside of this?

Hi I am 3 months PP and I passed this clot on day 1 of my period. Bare in mind I missed my last months period and had the nexoplan implant put in.
what can this clot mean? Can this be a possible miscarriage?? I’ve been cramping in pain all day and nauseas
