Warning photo! Is this a miscarriage or a big blood clot

So so so sorry for photos - I've been bleeding for weeks - honestly can't even remember the last time I had sex (1 year old in bed with us hehe). I've had some small clots - but this one just come today-
I was on antibiotics last week because when I contacted the doctors about the clots and a smell they said it was Bacterial vaginosis which I had a few years back so I knew it was the same- anyway this has just happened. I have had a closer look- can't see any 'form' of a child or little bones etc..
what do people think? Xx

Hello January 24 -february 7i have spotting but February 2 I have blood clot discharge.. but February 8 my 1st pregnancy test is positive... I'm really pregnant or I have miscarriage already? Coz have big blood clot discharge.. but still positive..is this miscarriage?

hi… I am new to this platform… so the thing my period were two days late so I did pregnancy test wich was positive with faint lines but visible… The very Nxt day I saw some clots followed by period for two days … after dat no period at all which is not like how I get my periods… after two days of period again I did a test n it shows positive with faint but visible lines… I am confused am I pregnant or not … NOTE:- the picture i posted were two different clots but when I kept it together it looks one but they are actually two

Hello all I’m new to this. I had this yesterday. Is this a clot or a sac? I’m so worried. This is my second miscarriage. :( after this I just had minor spotting. No cramps. Did I just have another miscarriage?

Did you get to the bottom of this? I’ve had similar this week and am 5 weeks 3 days pregnant

No I didn’t. I had a blood test done and my HCG high. So Monday is when I have my ultrasound so I will know then. I’ll update you next week.

It’s now stopped. I woke up Sunday morning with blood in my pyjamas. Had no idea I was pregnant as I thought I had had a normal period the week before. Took a test and the lines came up straight away. Bleeding stopped then started again on Monday but VERY VERY heavy. I was on toilet every 15 mins and it was pouring out of me and I was passing clots every single time. Eventually I passed a massive clot then the bleeding calmed down and hasn’t started again since. I ended up in A&E on Tuesday morning and they have referred to me early pregnancy unit today. I think it could be too early to see anything though? I’m absolutely certain it’s a miscarriage. Will attach a pic of the last blood clot i passed.

Oh yes that is a massive one. I hope you will be ok. Sorry for your loss. I have yet to know my result. I’m anxious to know at least I know what my next steps would be. I really hope everything would be ok for you.

I’m just out of early pregnancy unit. They can see a sac with a yolk in it, showing early stages of pregnancy. They couldn’t explain the massive clots I was passing. Going back for another scan in 2 weeks to check if baby has grown or not

Hi, i should be 8 weeks pregnant today, ive been bleeding for 5 days straight but not heavily just like a normal period, sat i had a few miniature clots but stopped after 24hrs, on Sunday afternoon i started to get not to bad pains in my stomach which stopped a few hrs later but no clots during this time, now this morning this showed up on tissue when i wiped only this one but no pain at all. Am i miscarrying or is this a normal early pregnancy clot, its my first pregnancy so a little scared, so any advice would be appreciated, thanks

@Kelly112 when I was about 4/5 weeks pregnant I had MASSIVE blood clots and was bleeding for 7/8 hours straight with clots. Although the bleeding was only 1 day. I didn’t have any stomach pain though. I would definitely call early pregnancy unit for advice. They’ll maybe get you up for a scan. Some women seem to just bleed a lot and there is sometimes never an explanation. I have been totally fine since my bleeding - have had 2 scans and all ok and have 12 week scan in a few days. My midwife said heavy bleeding can be quite common , although there isn’t much about it online so can be scary too.

Thanks for replying bekind88, ive had no heavy bleeding, in general i have very heavy periods so for me this is light, ive got my first ultrasound tomorrow which ive had to argue for and im really hoping everything is ok with the baby, im 39 and scared because its all new to me and in the older category, but this is the only one 1 have had this size and squashed when i touched it,

@BeKind88 Ive just passed this in the image, i think this was tissue and a clot and squished when i touched it so not to sure 🤷‍♀️ ill let you no how mu scan goes tomorrow and hopefully all is well

I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember the pains stopped after it had come away. It's such a devastating thing, so so sad. Wishing you lots of strength as you come to terms with what's happened. X

It might not be. I had something similar and I was fine. Would be best to get a blood test and check your HCG level.

I had similar clots to this too and had even bigger ones and I was totally fine. But definitely best to get it checked. They took me in for a scan first and said if they didn’t see anything then they would check my HCG levels. However On the scan they managed to see a wee sac and egg yolk!

So since my miscarriage 5 weeks ago I've not had a period, I've had weird symptoms same like before morning sickness and pains down one side and today I'm spotting, is it implantation bleeding or start of beck to normal periods, I'm confused because before I found out I was pregnant before I had certain symptoms which I'm getting again but I've don't 3 tests over the last 2 weeks and they come back negative, any advice would be a great help
