Missed miscarriage and next period

Hello All

I had an erpc 3 weeks ago after a mmc. I want to ask others who have been through this horrendous experience when your next period came. Also, was it a lot lighter or heavier from your usual periods?
Thanks

Hi Kirsty

It took just under 4 weeks for my period to start after the erpc

Thanks Greenglassteacup I felt like it was starting today as I had cramps and spotting but then it's stopped so still waiting. Really just want to get back to normal so we can start trying again

Greenglassteacup · 07/12/2016 23:40

I know Kirsty. Flowers.

I'm pregnant again. Terrified.

Congratulations! Lovely news. I know how you feel as I'm scared it will happen again. I have been told that lots of people go on to have normal healthy pregnancies after a miscarriage and there is no reason why it would happen again.

Greenglassteacup · 12/12/2016 20:03

Hi Kirsty Flowers

How are you doing?

I'm on cycle day 27. Took the test yesterday at day 26 because I felt like I was pregnant, very sore boobs, headache etc. Might well be a chemical pregnancy. By the due date I'll be 43. Ridiculous really. The line is very feint too

Faint. Not feint. Lost ability to spell

Congrats Green glass!
I've been lurking after MMC and ERCP last week. It is so nice to hear positive stories. I really really hope I'll celebrating the same in a couple of months time.
Sending lots of wishes for a healthy pregnancy.

Greenglassteacup · 12/12/2016 20:17

I'll probably lose this one too

I'm good thanks greenglasstescup on day 5 of af so should hopefully be trying again very soon! How many dpo are you? I wouldn't worry about the faint line as it should get darker as the days pass. Did you ovulate when you normally would after your miscarriage?

Greenglassteacup · 12/12/2016 20:45

Hi Kirsty. I felt like I was ovulating on cycle day 12 so I tested & got a strong line & again on cycle day 13. We decided to try.

OP posts:
Greenglassteacup · 12/12/2016 20:46

So ovulation seemed to be a few days earlier than usual

OP posts:
Kirsty8333 · 12/12/2016 20:54

I would maybe do another test in the next few days using you fmu and hopefully the line should get darker. Fingers crossed everything goes well for you this timeFlowers

Greenglassteacup · 12/12/2016 22:33

Thank you. I think I'm going to hang back from testing for a week

OP posts:
Greenglassteacup · 14/12/2016 20:32

So I couldn't wait a week because I can't stop obsessing. After the faint pink line on the frer on cycle day 26 I have teied a clear blue digital test today, cycle day 29. It says not pregnant. Either I'm not pregnant enough for the CB test to pick up or I've had a chemical pregnancy. No sign of period. Boobs still bigger & sore. Feel exhausted. I am so sick of this am I aren't I crap.

Greenglassteacup · 14/12/2016 20:34

Teied - supposed to say tried

Hiya GG

I don't want to read and run.

If you feel it'd be a good idea want to join us on the TTC after MC thread? There's a few of us in the same position as you were (me) and are in now (lines, no lines, wtf is going on).

Sending you love. I had a mmc with ERPC in Aug and it blew my mind apart. I think it takes balls to TTC again after such a wretched experience and I know that should I ever get another lucky line I'll be shitting myself and will lose my brain.

If that hasn't put you off coming over here is where we are Flowers

Kirsty8333 · 14/12/2016 22:02

Hi greenglass I know exactly how you feel as my last pregnancy was the same I was getting faint positives on some tests and negatives on others. In the end I went to the doctors where they did blood tests to see what was going on.

Greenglassteacup · 14/12/2016 22:45

Hello Beans & Kirsty FlowersBrewCake. How are you both?

Moving to the ttc group feels too much like tempting fate, my head is all over the place and I think that if it doesn't work this time then I'm done with trying to have a second child. I can't keep chasing this. I am so lucky to have a beautiful 5 year old daughter and I don't want to waste my time feeling sick and anxious and disappointed and sad over and over, when I could be enjoying her and living in the here and now. I definitely won't buy another test until next week and I'll buy a frer, not a clearblue load of bollocks.

I'm too fucking old

TheLegendOfBeans · 14/12/2016 22:53

I hear ya Greenglass. You've crystallised what I was thinking today BTW; I'm almost "missing" the time that my lovely DD is becoming a little person in because I'm looking over some stupid fence all the time IYSWIM?

X

Greenglassteacup · 14/12/2016 22:57

Exactly. I feel sure now that this is last chance lottery. I turn 43 in the summer and enough is enough, it'll be abstinence & condoms if this one fails

Greenglassteacup · 14/12/2016 22:58

Flowers Love to you all

Your right greenglass I've spent so much time feeling sad and thinking about conceiving again that I'm not enjoying the two little girls I already have. I'm constantly counting down to af, fw and then the tww.
