Oh and yay for puking Cloud, really hope it's a good sign. I had my first proper dizzy spell just now. I like your thinking about waiting for 8 week scan, I'd be copying you if it weren't for needing location scan for heparin.

What time is the scan tomorrow Diddly?

CheesyMash · 05/05/2015 14:20

Sorry your scan wasn't reassuring girlie. I agree that scans can be very inaccurate at that stage but understand how scared and disappointed you probably feel. We're all willing you on for your scan next week to be positive but are here whatever the outcome.

diddly good luck for your scan tomorrow.

Understandably it must be very scary for everyone with initial scans coming up. Flowers xxx

girliesaints · 05/05/2015 14:54

Thanks ladies. Shed lots of tears and Google accuracy of 6 week scans and its poor. So going for head in sand approach for rest of week and carrying on as if it's ok.

tannyLoo · 05/05/2015 14:55

I echo everyone else Girlie. We know how fearful/resigned you might be feeling. Holding out for a good scan next time x

Brummiegirl15 · 05/05/2015 15:03

Massive hugs Girlie I know the only reason I'd go for an early scan is for the heparin. They are too bloody worry and inconclusive

Keeping everything crossed xx

girlie sorry the scan didn't go as well as you had hoped. I hope this week passes quickly for you x

cloud you are brave to wait until 8 wks but I can definitely see your logic. Head in the sand seems like a good coping mechanism to me! Symptoms sounding more positive...

sebsmummy1 · 05/05/2015 16:00

Argh I hate the worry associated with early scans. Everything crossed for you Girlie

Purplefrogshoes · 05/05/2015 17:22

girlie my 6 week scan with this pregnancy really didn't look good, only sac was visible. My dates didn't match up until I was 11 weeks. Crossing everythingFlowers

cloud yay for puking

tanny happy birthday Flowers

Sorry about your mum minnie

I seen consultant today, elcs 1 week today, still don't actually believe that I will get a real baby Shock

barkingtreefrog · 05/05/2015 17:54

Wow, just 7 days away purple!!! Grin Grin Grin

AF has arrived here. That has given me a 7 day LP. Hmm So next cycle, if I'm actually in the country on the right day, I've got a one day window to have the nk cells biopsy before my womb lining starts shedding Confused .

girliesaints · 05/05/2015 17:59

Thanks Purple. It's the straw I'm clinging to that it could be the same but symptoms have also disappeared today. Were you getting any symptoms at the same time?

mrsdiddlydoo · 05/05/2015 18:01

The scan's at lunchtime. 1215. Dh has to work and has said he doesn't want to come which i understand. Its just his way of protecting himself. By the date of my last AF I'm 7+3 today but I didn't ovulate til around CD 17/18. Haven't the foggiest what to expect tomorrow. Well I do but ... I can't decide how I feel about it. Just keep wishing it to be a healthy egg and freaking out about how rubbish the first trimester is (there really should be a vomit smiley) and really not wanting to do this again.

mrsdiddlydoo · 05/05/2015 18:02

purple a baby!!! Eeeek! So close now Smile

sebsmummy1 · 05/05/2015 18:06

Barking a 7 day LP will prevent you from getting pregnant as it's just not long enough for the egg to implant.

I'm so surprised your acupuncture sessions haven't helped with this aspect of your cycle. I assume you've also taken B6 to try and help? If you could sort that out I honestly think you would get pregnant.

CheesyMash · 05/05/2015 18:15

Forgot to say Happy Birthday Tanny! Love your words that it's the best b'day ever, despite feeling shite. Smile my last b'day was definately my worst (due to have 12wk scan the same day but found out a few days before baby had died), don't know what to expect for the next one but I'm hoping the one after that will be my best to date. Smile

Wow Purple! Only 7 days...Grin how exciting! I hope you managed to get some of the basics ready for the new arrival.

barking hope you can get booked in for the biopsy ok.

Good luck tomorrow diddly

Sunandrainbow · 05/05/2015 18:20

Marchgirl · 05/05/2015 20:04

How exciting purple. You'll have met your baby this time next week Grin

Sorry af has arrived barking Sad did you manage to speak to the clinic about whether they would take the biopsy early, given your circumstances?

Good luck for tomorrow mrsd. Keeping everything crossed x

Yay for some symptoms jady. Fx this is your sticky one

ExtraBlessings · 05/05/2015 20:09

cloud, girlie and sun hang in there all of you. Xxxxxxxxxxx

Good luck tomorrow, diddly

purple excellent work. Not long now!

I started my phased return to work today. Just doing mornings this week. It all went fine.

barkingtreefrog · 05/05/2015 20:12

Sebs no shit! Can you please explain that to the nhs?!?! The first two people I spoke to told me that all women have a 14 day LP Hmm
After three years and no other explanation, my consultant eventually put on my form 'possible luteal phase deficiency' Confused
That doesn't explain why I did get pg twice but then failed to get pg on 7 other cycles of the same or similar treatment though.
When I followed an alcohol free, wheat free diet, took vit b6 and had weekly acupuncture all for a few months, my ovulation did move forward (around cd17) and the longest I got my Lp to was 12 days I think? Still no bfp though. The cycle post iui and pre ivf was a 14 day LP and I was convinced the iui drugs had kickstarted a normal cycle and I was going to get a bfp, but obviously not.
This is why I'll try Angus cactus if the frozen round doesn't work.

At least I usually only have a 1ww....Hmm

barkingtreefrog · 05/05/2015 20:15

March xpost - I've put my head in the sand, I'll call next ov (if it falls early/late enough that 7 days later isn't when we're away for 5 days) and find out when I can come in. Technically 7 dpo was yesterday, so would have been ok. What I'm also interested in is they look at progesterone levels in the womb lining as well, rather than just the blood test. Given this is where I think my problems lie I'm hoping the results might tell me something.

junebaby2011 · 05/05/2015 20:25

Mrsdiddly i am so pleased for you. Often think about you when browsing these threads. Hope all goes well tomorrow, know exactly how you must be feeling xxx
