I had my 7th mcs about 9 weeks ago (i think, i didnt write any dates down, have little memory of about 2 weeks during the time, due to the drugs i was pumped with)
In short, i dont know when it occurred.

Ive sought councelling because i have never talked about my mcs ever, to any one.(well, only to you lot Smile)
Additionally, i am coming up 42, and thught that that was IT the end, no more, even went and got the pill.

Patiently waiting for my period so that i could start taking the damned thing.
No af as yet.
Feeling much better in myself, councelling really really helping, im on a healthy eating mission (thanks to myfitnesspal) doing really well.

Accepting everything, although the grief has been overwhelming at times Sad.

So af still not here, so bought a cheepy test, thought that all pregnancy hrmones will now be gone...this far after mc....almost immediately a pink line came up.

We dtd only a couple of times..it normally took me up to 22 months to concieve so this has floored me...completely and totally. Do not know what the jeff i should do?????????
All calming words of wisdom very much appreciated....i know i know, theres no fool like an old fool.. Sad

Had to take 20 deeeep breaths prior to going into the sewing room. I nearly turned around and walked away. Was thinking "dont tempt fate, dont tempt fate"

Ohhhh.I 've been kurking watching this thread. I'm so happy for you :)

WhatDreamsMayCome · 24/08/2012 01:08

That's fantastic nosleep! You've done it! I'm so delighted for you. Fortune favours the brave. Wish I could take my own advice though, can't seem to get over the mc and just move on to TTC. I find your experience very inspiring.

Please let us know when you feel the first movement, any new cravings? And have the nana naps now subsided? Grin

Cynner · 24/08/2012 01:54

Yay! Soon that bump will be bustin' all over!..

monsterchild · 24/08/2012 02:10

I'e been following this thread as it is close to my own story! I'm 22 weeks, and I can't believe it either.

Yay for you, nosleep! The clothing change really makes it real, doesn't it?

Kayano · 24/08/2012 02:21

Nosleep this is fantastic!

Have you thought about 20 weeks yet and if you will find out the sex of the baby?

Any names? My own mother struggled for 13 years before she finally got me (adopted) and she called me
Victoria because it was her 'victory' I love hearing about it Grin

Of course MN tells me my nick name is now Chavvy Wink but it's got such a special meaning I don't even care!

drjohnsonscat · 24/08/2012 09:37

Kayano that's lovely about your name. Brought a tear to my eye

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood · 24/08/2012 11:23

Yay!! fabulous news!!

LadyInPink · 24/08/2012 11:29

What a lovely story Kayano Smile My DD has a name that has a special meaning too (she's a rainbow baby).

Dillydollydaydream · 24/08/2012 15:41

Herbsmum · 24/08/2012 17:02

Oh wow. Have been lurking with everything crossed an holding my breath. Soooo chuffed for clever little you an your impending new person.
Brilliant!

ALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 27/08/2012 21:24

I have just found this thread.

I would like to say huge, huge congratulations. It has made me well up reading your fantastic news.

I have two children and have had 3 mcs. it took 2 years ttc dc2. My DS was conceived and my BFP was the day I was booked for infertility tests.

Never ever give up hope.

I was going to take a break from MN for a while but not now, I'll be back to check on your thread regularly.

:) :) :)

You deserve this.

chocolateistheenemy · 27/08/2012 22:35

Utterly delighted for you. What a rollercoaster these last few months have been! Similarly to Coconuts above, it took me 2+ years to conceive DC2 and heaps of tests. Fell pregnant the month I was due to have dye through my tubes. My DH had cancer years ago and was told he'd never have children so we have two little miracles Wink Modern medicine and science don't have answers to everything!
Wishing you a wonderful and relaxing rest of your pregnancy and looking fwd to your updates. Take care Smile

WheresMyCow · 28/08/2012 08:15

Just checking in nosleep how are you and bump today Grin

17 weeks...wow that's fantastic. Hopefully you can start to enjoy your pregnancy now.

Have a (((hug))) while I can still get my arms round you Smile

slottie · 29/08/2012 16:29

Congratulations! As another 'older' TTCer and recurrent miscarrier it's nice to hear of success at our age. I am also coming up to 42 and have had 9 miscarriages and a stillbirth across a 9 year span (no DC). I was looking for success stories after lots of losses and came across your story. I hope you enjoy every minute!

TheOneWithTheHair · 29/08/2012 16:36

Oh nosleep what wonderful news!!

I was away and your thread dropped out of my TIO. So glad to have found you again and read all your good news!

A birth plan!! Go you!! Grin

nananaps · 29/08/2012 21:15

Because i am now sleeping WITHOUT worry, i have changed my name to nananaps........i do love a good nana nap me as you all know Smile

BIG thank you to eveyone again for your lovely, gorgeous, kind messages and thank you for following my little journey.

I am doing fine!! I am sure that i can feel movements, which just makes me stop wherever i am and well up like a twonk, but it makes me feel so emotional, it makes it 100000% real doesnt it, those first flutters.

Bump is coming on great! Just waiting for 20 week scan date any day now plus my second set of amnio results. Confident that 2nd set will be fine...just a feeling Smile

For all of you who have never given up hope and who have been rewarded like me, for patience, its a privilege to speak to you. Feel a bit like i belong to a very very special little happy club.

18 weeks..here i come....btw is it melon size now????

love nosleepwithworry xxxx
