I gave birth at 9.51am yesterday to my precious baby girl. I already had her name picked out, Tilly Rose. I feel so empty and lost.

Oh Bree I am so sorry for the loss of your daughter Tilly Rose. What a beautiful name you have given her.

I lost my daughters, Katie and Anna, nearly three years ago at 21+ weeks due to IUGR and suspeceted TTTS. It is a very lonely road grief and I would not have got through these years without the love and support of my friends that I made on the SANDS (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death society) forum. If you can face it do join there where you will be surrounded by other parents who are in the same situation.

It is extremely early days for you and I am sure that you are in complete shock. I do so hope that you have got some wonderful support at home. If you would like to tell us about your pregnancy and your daughter then I would love to hear it. I wanted to talk about my daughters all the time and I needed to find someone who would listen.

Please be very gentle on yourself.

Love

oh no bree :( so so sorry to hear this :( no words at all, just sending my love xxx

Breevandercamp1750 · 19/09/2011 11:54

Support at home is non existent. I found out H was having an affair (after he asked me for a termination at 18 weeks) and threw him out.

I have a history of pre terms so didn't expect Tilly to wait too long to greet me. I just didn't expect it this soon (22+)

I just want to hold her, smell her, rub my nose on her perfect little head. I want to hear her cry.

LizaTarbucksNonSmokingAuntie · 19/09/2011 12:01

Oh lovely I'm so sorry, you have been let down haven't you.

Do you want to chat about Tilly or do you just want quiet support?

ColdSancerre · 19/09/2011 12:02

Are your parents/ILs with you?

carciofi · 19/09/2011 12:03

I am so sorry about your little girl, my heart goes out to you.

Breevandercamp1750 · 19/09/2011 12:04

I desperately want to talk about her but it feels like there's a football in my throat. It feels like I can't move for fear that I might loose it .

My MIL has been with me but has gone to relieve FIL of the other DCs. My parents are on their way back from France for me. MIL has been a tower of strength but I need my mum .

ColdSancerre · 19/09/2011 12:07

Can you type about her and tell us, even if you can't talk about her out loud? Would that help?

aftereight · 19/09/2011 12:11

I am so very sorry to hear that Tilly Rose came so soon. Please lean on your family, I cannot imagine how difficult this is for you, especially with what has happened recently with your H x

Squiglettsmummy2bx · 19/09/2011 12:13

So very sorry for your loss. Tilly is a beautiful name Smile
Sending you healing hugs xxx

Breevandercamp1750 · 19/09/2011 12:21

I only had a scan a few days ago to check on her as I wasn't feeling quite right. I just don't understand. She is perfect, just tiny. She weighed 1lb 6oz and looks just like my others. She was taken to scbu but there was no heart beat so nothing they could do. What did I do to her?

4madboys · 19/09/2011 12:42

do you have photos etc. i hope your mum gets to you soon xx

LizaTarbucksNonSmokingAuntie · 19/09/2011 12:52

Oh lovely, it wasn't anything you did, you know that deep down. I hope your Mum gets there very soon.

Why did you choose Tilly as her name?

Breevandercamp1750 · 19/09/2011 12:57

I have photos, not nearly enough though. I hope she's warm enough, it's so cold here today.

OP posts:
ViolaTricolor · 19/09/2011 12:58

Breevandercamp1750 · 19/09/2011 12:58
