I’ve recently started Everol conti patches and my mood has dipped dramatically. I’m also so tired I sleep all day if I have the chance. Has anyone else experienced this and will it calm down.

I've been on Everol Conti for about 15 months now having tried several other treatment combinations.

Remembering to change the patch twice a week is a lot easier for me than having to rub gel in every day and work out whether or not you need to start the progesterone phase.

It's controlled my hot flushes from hell but it did take longer to be fully effective than the oral regime I was on before I took a break. It's got there though. Mood and energy levels are fine too.

I can also tolerate the progesterone which has been the problem in the past. For me the only downside is that horrible glue patch that remains when you take them off.

I'mm 55, had not had a period for 2 years but have had terrible night sweats, therefore not sleeping for about 4 years.
I have been on Evorel Conti since the end of April 2022, what started with "spotting" (which has included every colour of "gunk" from pale pink to black clots), in week 2 of using these patches, to date. I haven't had one clear day in the past 7 weeks, which is now a full blown period, including bloating and period pains. I know they say it takes 3 months, but I'm exhausted!! I feel like giving up the HRT and put up with the hot flushes!!

I felt that way for months, hope you settle on Conti it didn’t suit me. I have now settled on Oestrogel and Utovlan 10mg a day it’s not always prescribed as HRT. I had heavy bleeds and pain with everything else I tried. They checked my bloods and scanned my uterus first. No symptoms, no bleeds so far so good.

OP my experience has been fine. No notable side effects. The only thing it really hasn't stopped is the vaginal dryness. I'm now finding it very difficult to cope with but having read other responses I think I might be lucky not to have other awful side effects.

I hope it works for you. Starting HRT felt like a huge step to me but I've been quite lucky with it.

Hi , our doctors don’t seem to know enough about it.. I’m lucky that my luvly lady doctor actually admitted this to me .
saying that , she put me on evorel conti and it’s been good for me . But when I told her my libido had left the building 🤓, we did a blood test and my testosterone levels were low , she told me to go and see a private menopause specialist as our doctors cannot prescribe testosterone . I did not know that we also need that as well as estrogen and progesterone .
anyway he doesn’t alter my hrt which is all ok for me, but if you are struggling he will know more than our doctors do . And will switch it about until you find the right one for you .
and once you get that one testosterone bottle then your doctor can prescribe it , which is better as it cost me £80 done the private way!! . A lot of ladies don’t know about this . It costs to go private , just a one off , but it’s just to get the ball rolling and we are worth it .

Hi everyone,
I’m new to this site but I’ve been reading about Evorel Conti which has just been prescribed for me by doctor. I’m 52 (53 in July) and still having periods. I’ve been reading that this particular patch should only be used by women in menopause and not peri. This is quite concerning as doctor knows my current situation. I am not taking it at the moment as trying natural products first but hrt was going to be my back up plan if all else failed. I prefer natural products but I know that they can only do so much. If it’s any help to anyone then Purolabs do a really good peri menopause and menopause supplement, and they do help relieve symptoms. I also take Ashwagandha for my anxiety attacks and that has been marvellous. I am now trying LaBalance by Sassy la Femme which is magnetic therapy for peri and menopause symptoms. I can’t comment too much on this as only had it a week but hopeful it might work. It works on the Autonomic Nervous system which helps with any imbalance caused by menopause. I hope this is helpful to anyone who wants to try something natural rather than prescribed hrt.

I started evorel conti 5 months ago after being on evorel sequi for 18 months. I am feeling much better since I started using it. I have dreadful headaches and these have almost stopped. I am also sleeping better. I have had issues with bleeding though, pretty well constant, finll y stopped now, for now at least, but apparently this can occur whilst your body is getting used to it - healthexpress.co.uk/evorel-conti
