SW London meet up anyone?

I'm moving to Sheen and seem to remember Willow2, Bettys, Binker and ks were all up for a night out. I move on 4 August, so sometime in mid/late August or September would be good. I'd love to meet some mums in the area.

if everyone can meet at 7.00pm rather than 8.00pm there's no problem. i haven't seen anyone specifically say they can't meet at 7.00pm yet.

so please confirm whether you can or not.

sofia, i have booked a non-smoking table. how smoke-free it will be depends on a number of factors, e.g. how good their ventilation system is. i've got no idea as i've never been to that branch.

it would be nice to get this sorted and start looking forward to it!

bossyk - will get there as soon as I can but possibly nearer 8 than seven, just not sure yet. Sofia - the richmond branch is two tier, with a small smoking section at front of restaurant and a bigger non-smoking section at the back. It has not been at all smoky when I've sat there. Hope this will convince you to come!

Oh major xxxx up. DH has organised dinner with friends as a late birthday treat for me. Sorry to muck up numbers at this late stage but didn't realise until today. Oh bum. Hope you have a good time.

OH NO I've got to blow you all out as well, I'm really sorry, but I've just been so blimmin ill for 2 weeks (dysentary style bug, followed by horrible cold that has now turned into chest infection) I have been in bed most of this week (hence lack of posting on mumsnet!!) and I just feel so awful that my mum has come and taken dd to hers yesterday and I'm going to go down there for some tlc over the weekend. DH is ill too and we just can't cope as DD has had the bug and a cold too and keep waking in the night (not normal for her).

We are the original pathetic parents aren't we?

Anyway I'm sure none of you want my germs. Can we arrange another meet up as I was soooo looking forward to it

Oh and if you had to pay a deposit let me know and I'll sort it out.

really sorry to do this but...

i'm afraid i won't be able to make it tomorrow after all. i've been going down with some kind of virus this week and feel rubbish. since i've only just recovered from a nasty flu bug lasting three weeks, i want to take things as easy as possible in the hope of shaking it off sooner rather than later.

it's all gone very quiet here, in any event...

if you can let me know by tonight who's still in, i will amend the booking at strada. otherwise, i will cancel it.

i look forward to meeting up with you all some other time.

Oh dear. It's taken me two days to get onto PC, the effort of getting out of bed & sitting on a chair was too much - very nasty cold. So I will not be able to make it along tomorrow night, either. Hoping to get myself better again ready for school on Monday. Why am I always ill in the holidays?

Nice weekend away to see friends - without ds - so that was good. Birthday itself - last monday - was crap, very, very dull and forgotten by most of my mates, but celebrated next day with dh by going to Tate Modern in the day and then back in to town in the evening to see Aqualung gig which was fab. Then went out with a few friends on Saturday who hadn't seen for a while. Low key but nice.

Glad you seem better CD - how is everything? 24th Jan sounds good to me - it will be my last ever Saturday with a 2 in front of my age hurrah! (and just about the only w/end in Jan without some family b'day) So put me down for it.
