I'm moving to Sheen and seem to remember Willow2, Bettys, Binker and ks were all up for a night out. I move on 4 August, so sometime in mid/late August or September would be good. I'd love to meet some mums in the area.

Can't you get a direct train to Putney or Richmond? Come on, you can't disappear for ever!

willow2 · 22/09/2003 22:21

interested parties so far are willow, the countess and bettys (with the hope that we may persuade ks to make a special guest appearance ).

given that not all of us can make a date in october, what about early november? think if it gets past mid-november, i will be encouraging everyone to go the the xmas meet instead!

what do you think?

I may have to bite your neck if you do ks

bettys · 25/09/2003 21:01

Early November sounds good to me. Willow's away for a week. I think Sofia would be up for Ma Goa

SofiaAmes · 25/09/2003 22:55

Yes count me. Though so far, my favorite for food (and price) was Strada. Ks if it's too long a journey, you're welcome to come and stay the night at mine. (you could even bring your ds and leave him at mine and my dh could babysit!!).

CountessDracula · 25/09/2003 22:57

Strada was great I agree (esp if they've sorted out the Vin Santo drought). I will come to whichever place is chosen if I'm around that weekend.

bossykate · 26/09/2003 10:52

since we have a mysterious palm-reader, a vampire, a vampire slayer (or at least the friend of one) among our number perhaps we should do the Sat nearest Hallowe'en - Sat Nov 1st?

strada fine with me, would prefer the richmond branch.

Saturday Nov 1st is fine by me.

KS I can bring some chain cutters Hope things are feeling a little less bleak today. Are you sure a night out wouldn't do you good?

fisil · 26/09/2003 18:25

I'm up for it, just too lazy to reach for my diary right now. What dates are most likely?

bossykate · 26/09/2003 19:15

oh excellent, fisil! what will you come as?

sat nov 1st is the current proposal.

bossykate · 26/09/2003 19:18

ks, sorry, meant to say, will include a place for you in the booking, but completely understand if you think coming up is not the best thing for you right now. if you decide to opt in we'll be delighted to see you, if not we'll understand. after all, you might feel differently in a month's time.

will stop nagging you about this now, must be getting tiresome!

btw - no pressure, but have you changed your email address?

Like Strada too, but the discount card we used last time has run out, so it won't be as cheap. Still great value though, & excellent food.

fisil · 28/09/2003 17:30

What will I come as? Don't understand. Me?

bossykate · 28/09/2003 19:56

sorry, fisil, ham-fisted attempt at humour (we have a countess vampire, a vampire slayer etc etc)

fisil · 28/09/2003 20:30

Oooh, better not come as a beautiful damsel in distress, then.

CountessDracula · 29/09/2003 12:52

Hope Willow2 doesn't hack me to bits May have to change name back to be on safe side.

BTW Bettys your garlic is fantastic! Dh most impressed though slightly confused when I turned up with garlic after night out.
