Get twiddling them nips!

OP posts:
EasilyConfusedIndith · 24/08/2010 21:01

Nah you don't want to nipple twiddle, you jsut get all sticky form the colostrum and it takes up a hand that could otherwise be used for chocolate eating!

Hope things turn out better than you might think they are going to . A lot can happen between now and friday :)

KaraStarbuckThrace · 25/08/2010 08:00

Hot bath? Hot Curry? Hot Sex?

Wink
LeggyBlondeNE · 25/08/2010 12:19

Well mine aren't leaking yet so I wouldn't get sticky, but sadly one effect of high levels of progesterone for me is that I find that whole sensation very aversive! (The 9 weeks between pill and pregnancy were great!)

We have been eating curry every day though. Both of us - even though I'm the only one who can take it!

No comment on that last one!

LOL @ Indith

StealthPolarBear · 26/08/2010 07:25

hello everyone
how's the bouncing going Leggy? (see how cunningly I disguised it there??)
How's everyone else?

LeggyBlondeNE · 26/08/2010 11:41

Looks like the bouncing worked! OR maybe eating curry 4 days on the trot.

Anyway, guess I'll be back in a few days or so! FrozenNorth will probably get an update before then so I'll rely on her to keep y'all informed as to the outcome.

StealthPolarBear · 26/08/2010 11:52

oooh what's happening?? Are you having contractions? Have your waters gone?
I NEED LUNCH but can't leave my computer now

KaraStarbuckThrace · 26/08/2010 12:55

Yes where's the live labour thread?

StealthPolarBear · 26/08/2010 16:10

FrozenNorth · 26/08/2010 21:30

stickylittlefingers · 26/08/2010 21:39

Stealth - you got a mention in the Mumsnet Roundup!

EasilyConfusedIndith · 27/08/2010 18:35

Congratulations! Wonderful news! Well done Leggy!

Yes yes we need to have cake. We need to play pass the parcel baby. I was snuggling an 8 week old today [soppy :)]. New babies are so scrummy. Bet she smells amazing .

We need to know a name too!

Sticky! Good to see you! How are you? It has been ages.

Tomorrow I shall report back from the Butterpie wedding Grin

spiggy · 27/08/2010 18:59

yay well done leggy, sorry I missed the pacing, been laid up with a bug and couldn't even face sitting up to turn the computer on. cake sounds like a plan though, it is officially recommended* to help you recover from birth.

Indith, I shall see you tomorrow, M&H are coming so hopefully they will just run round with your 2 while we get to drink and eat chat.

  • well I swear by it anyway, mind I think a nice slice of cake fixes most things....
foxytocin · 28/08/2010 11:34

Congratulations Leggy. TBH I visited this thread this morning to find out about your birth. Grin

ButterpieBride · 29/08/2010 13:44

Ooh, Congratulations Leggy!

Just popping in to tell you all that the wedding was brilliant :D Photos are gradually going up on the wedding website so you can see the full aceness of it all!

I'll pop a link up when it is done.

spiggy · 29/08/2010 18:27

Glad you had a nice time Butterpie, sorry we had to dash off without saying goodbye!

I've bumped the Great North East Meet up thread again as I think it is time for another attempt to get some of the Newcastle/Sunderland lot that we know are out there, plus it is an excuse for more cake!
