Frozen doing some sort of lecturing about infant feeding sounds great! I remember one Spanish class in my final year where we were told to choose something in the news that interested us and do a 5 min presentation on it. Bf was in the news and I had recently stopped feeding ds but was (just) pg with dd so it had been on my mind a bit so that is what I chose. The stupid lads in the class just pissed themselves laughing. Wankers. I think it would be great to incorporate things on feeding into classes so that, as you say, you get he chance to think about it before having children. I think it could greatly affect how people think about feeding if they have been exposed to all the arguments before they become faced with it all while in the grip of pregnancy hormones.

Leggy good luck with the top ups and kudos for sticking at it, it must be pretty time consuming!

Can't remember if I actually said whether I was coming today or not but I'm not. Hopefully see plenty of people next week though.

Happy 1st birthday A!!

I am coming today, got a GPs appointment for Monday morning :)

I am so impressed for the first time ever, I rang got through to the appointments line 1st time and the lady who answered it was happy and cheerful!

Where we are it's same day appointments only, which can be a pain, but on the other hand that means you have to wait all weekend :(

I can't as I am working on Tuesday - my first appointment isn't until 1pm, but I'll have some prep to do before then.

Sorry I didn't come today, I didn't feel confident enough to bring two! Plus I figured the 4 year old would just fidget!

Aww shame, though it was quite crowded!! I reckon we could have fitted more. There were some other people in the downstairs room, who didn't seem to mind 3 toddlers wandering around. But what was funny was when this glamourous looking 60ish woman cam in, looking around horrified at the all the mums and tinies, and then the palpable look of relief when our lovely waitress told her there was seating upstairs.

Lovely seeing FrozenNorth again, and she brought her friend too. And Leggy and LittleLeggy who is utterly scrumptious - and who has a gorgeous name too :) I really like it!

I'm jealous about not knowing the name.

Was indeed amusing to see all the reactions to us this morning. The nice lady at the end talked to me and T for a few minutes before we left and gave me a shiny nugget for the baby. She's so far aquired about £2.50 from nice older women around Durham in this fashiong!

Think it was 10.30am at Cafe Continental again

Yeah she was really nice, kept smiling over at us, I joked to her on the way out that she can have some peace and quiet now, and she said "oh I don't mind!"

Good news! It's a different set of scales, but baby has gained 5oz since Wednesday - which means either way she's probably more or less on track again. Now just need to work out what to do wrt topping-up here on in.

Anyway, see people Tuesday as of course I still need cake for my milk supply... ;-)
