Can we make the night out the 14th? It is even so far on take up and I neeeeeeeeed a night out! Sure Butterpie's hen do will be lovely but an afternoon tea just isn't going to cut it!

Where shall we go? The mood I'm in at the moment I want to save up to get a taxi home rather than drive so I can drown myself in cocktails Course I'm a major lightweight so drowning myself in cocktails will take about half of one . Least I'm cheap

I won't be along for a meetup in August, I got my weeks mixed And now we are fully booked for all of August!

So just organised one without me and I'll come to the next one.

Definitely up for a day time meet up.
What about next Friday, at the Botanical Gardens, meet at 10am, bring a picnic? Dependent on weather of course!

I have decided that Friday is my last day at work as I've got plenty done and should have everything submitted/in-hand by then, so I may be up for botanic cake or may have cake at work ... depends on how organised I get!

Juney - if it is just you and me going, are you still happy to come? I don't mind if you prefer a bigger meet up, but if you fancy coming along and help me eat picnic food and look after the tiny terror can message you on fb with my mobile number. Though hopefully SPB and Indith can join us!

Parking: there are two separate entrances, best one is to turn in for Collingwood college and drive up past there, there's a small car park and the main entrance where the coffee shop is (the other way, which is more prominently signed, is to park in the park and ride, but then you enter the gardens at the bottom, far away from the cakes).

Hope DH has stopped being a muppet Indith- is he after the car when you have vital cake eating opportunities? Did you manage to do anything with D's sleep while the boys were away?

What are the plans for the next couple of saturdays? (the dreaded football season is starting so I have to co-ordinate with DP)Are we out on the 14th for a meal? And is something happening this saturday afternoon for Butterpie's hen do? Have been so busy with work that I am totally out of touch. But at least it looks as though we aren't going to be shut so I can relax a little- hurrah!

I can't come after all, horrid migraine last night, DS had me up several times as well and this morning I feel sick and shakey and my head still hurts.
DS is going to be watching a lot of cbeebies today whilei lie on the sofa feeling sorry for myself,

Kara, oh no, sounds grim, I hope you feel better soon.

So is it just me and Juney? Indith, are you going to Ikea? If so, we could leave it and try again next week? Forecast for today is light rain so not ideal anyway.

Also, for those who were concerned about DH's Nana, sorry to say that she died yesterday. Although everyone is seeing it as a bit of a blessing as she was very unwell and would only have deteriorated further. So I'm going to see MIL today too. Funeral on Thursday. :(
