Thought I'd take the bold step of starting a new thread as the otherone was getting a bit long.

So lets start again - who can make the Saturday 28th June for the second lunchtime Liverpool meet up?

I'm happy to book table etc this time to relieve eyelash of the burden.

I have had a really crappy fortnight,2 weeks ago today my mum + dad were in a really bad car accident but they are on the mend now but my dad is still in hospital. My younger brother lives down south and my elder brother was in Gran Canaria so I had to try and cope on my own but they are all home now and I am going to try and get some rest.Sorry for rambling but just wanted to catch up with you all.Love L xx

Leander - I am so sorry to read about your mum and dad. Is your dad going to be in hospital for much longer. And obviously your mum must be pretty distraught as well! Make sure to make some time for yourself though.

We are off to Cornwall on Friday for 2 weeks and hoping to have some good weather. Boys are recovering from chicken-pox - perfect timing as they will
be all clear soon.

The wirral meet-up was postponed. But are we still meeting up on the 27th September? If so see you all then.

woozle · 31/08/2003 23:03

Leander - sorry to hear about your mum and dad. What a stressful time for you. Glad things are getting better again.

I'm doing fine with the baby to be but my DS has decided not to go to bed until about 9.30pm since our return from holiday. He won't go to his got at all until fast asleep in our bed. I've been reading the sleep thread for ideas and will start trying a few out soon.

Hope to see you at the next meet up

No, Wirral expedition didn't happen as DD's godfather and missus came a day early for a bridesmaid dress buying trip. I'll try and arrange something else when stuff calms down a bit at my end.

Leander, thanks for phoning, hope things are a bit easier for you now.

Moomicat · 05/09/2003 16:53

Leander - sorry to hear about your mum and dad; hope all is going better now. If I'm passing again I'll knock, although you'll probably hear DD first as her new trick is squeaking and yelling "eeeeeeeeeee" loudly.

Marialuisa - hopefully I'll be able to make the next outing across the water; I'm re-starting college 2 nights a week soon so maybe I'll bump into you!

Things have been quite hectic for me with far too much going on and I've been told to "slow down or burnout" now by the GP so I am trying to chill out a bit more buts its hard when there's so much to do!!!! DD is changing nursery soon, but different days to the ones I work so that's another thing to juggle, I've a new job at work, DH is working more nights and I can;t believe DD will be 1 in 6 weeks!!!! AAAAGH where has the time gone?
