i will need to confirm numbers to the restaurant next Monday 19th May and pay a deposit of £10 per head.

so i would be grateful if everyone would please give final confirmation by Sunday 18th May. if i don't hear from you by then, i'll assume you can't make it.

got back a short while ago. no margaritas to report!

to those who cancelled and were so kind to worry about the deposit - don't worry there was no problem about it and you don't owe me a thing.

it was so good to see everyone again/meet new people - i had such an enjoyable evening.

one thing - as one of nature's pessimists, i am thinking a very complex bill situation worked out far too easily! i checked and rechecked it... but hope there is no-one out there feeling short changed...

bk - just getting ready for bed with a cuppa after getting the last train from Waterloo. Had a really good evening, nice to meet so many new people and "old" faces. Thanks for organising!

Glad you all had a good one - had hoped, on waking yesterday morning, to be able to make it after all. Then dh woke up in agony to find he couldn't move his ankle. We thought he'd somehow broken it, spent all day in various casualty departments, ended up with a diagnosis of acute tendonitis and a dh on crutches - got home only for him to wobble on crutches, put his foot down and - after excruciating pain - found he could move his foot again. Most weird.

Anyway, figure it might be curse of Mumsnet meet ups as I missed the last one because I was in the same casualty department!

I had a great time so thanks BossyKate for organising and everyone else who was there for being such good company!

Great to meet you all & I'm definitely going to post more from now on.

I'm so jealous. Still whilst you were all getting drunk on Turkish cava I was sitting on a beach in Greece watching the moonlight shimmer on the waves laping gently at my feet. (Would I be really sad to admit that I would have preferred to be at Ozer?)

Want to add my thanks here to BossyKate and everyone else. What a hoot. I just want to drink more at the next meetup. Can you tell I don't get out often either.
