Marina · 14/05/2003 15:38

As far as I know it's still ok.

SamboM · 14/05/2003 16:35

I'll try though I suspect I'll get short shrift as have already promised to go to p-i-l's and am going out to a gig on Sat night (and tonight actually) Lucky me!

sis · 14/05/2003 20:09

I'm still on - and looking forward to it. BK, have you done your homework and watched 'Trust me - I'm a teenager'? 'cos I can't really remember the details of 'wife swap'

Now how do I do a hungry smiley face? ...oh well

eemie · 15/05/2003 10:24

expatkat · 15/05/2003 11:36

Yes--can still make it, thanks.

tigermoth · 15/05/2003 11:56

yes, and I'm looking forward to it.

bossykate · 15/05/2003 12:02

hi there.

girly, meanmum, you are very welcome to join us. that brings us up to the maximum of 25 people, since no-one has definitely dropped out yet (samboM?). if anyone else would like to come along, that will depend on people cancelling from now on.

i don't need the deposit up front, but i will be charged £10 per person for no-shows on the night... so if i don't hear from people as requested i will have to assume that they can no longer make it.

here is a review of the restaurant London Eating review of Ozer

also, here is a link to a map of the area .

thanks to those who have confirmed so far. any further questions please let me know.

looking forward to seeing everyone there

Langham Place runs of Regent Street. If you use Oxford Circus Tube as a starting point you can find it as follows.

Come out of Oxford Circus Tube and locate the H&M store on the circus itself (think Nike, Top Shop etc is across from it). Regent Street crosses Oxford Street and you need to walk away from Piccadilly Circus, therefore, past the H&M down Regent Street. Keep walking up Regent Street until you see a big church which is on the curve of Regent Street. Regent Street changes into a different road (can't remember name) at about this point. If you are walking down Regent St on the same side as H&M then Ozer is just across the road and right next to the BBC offices. If you look at www.streetmap.co.uk and put in the post code W1A 1AA this will give you the BBC and show you exactly where Ozer is (right next door). Hope that helps.

Worrying! Really want to come but... Found out a few months before falling pregnant that I had a nut allergy. Because of the pregnancy they wont test me therefore I've no idea if my allergy is just to Brazil nuts or to others and I've been warned that an anaphalytic episode is very likely to kill/harm the baby. Although I've eaten Turkish before I've never thought about it in terms of nuts. Does anyone know - do they use nuts a lot?

meanmum · 15/05/2003 19:48

I don't know them to use much in the way of nuts, however, pistachios are big in Turkey.

There stuffed peppers and meat dishes don't have nuts but then I wouldn't want to say that it would be safe for you in case there were nut traces in the food.

Twink · 15/05/2003 21:47

Oh BK, I'm struggling to decide what to do.

Having looked at the train times, I'd have to leave by 9.45 to be sure of catching the last train back, so by the time transport costs have been added to my food (ok, I admit it, my alcohol bill) I'll have spent about £60 for 2 hours out plus 4 hours travel time (and this month's budget was overdrawn before it started), but on the other hand, I really want to come..

That is no help to you but I promise to have stopped dithering by Sunday.
