Final call - London dinner Fri 23rd May - confirmation please!

hello everyone

i will need to confirm numbers to the restaurant next Monday 19th May and pay a deposit of £10 per head.

so i would be grateful if everyone would please give final confirmation by Sunday 18th May. if i don't hear from you by then, i'll assume you can't make it.

wills - i have had a look at the menu. on the face of it, i think you will be fine with the main courses, but at least two of the meze contain pine nuts. also, the baklava for dessert are garnished with chopped pistachios (but you could have ice cream instead). as meanmum says, if pine kernels and pistachios are used in the kitchen it may be possible that other dishes contain trace amounts of these. would you like me to phone the restaurant and check? alternatively, you could opt out of the party menu and go a la carte if that would make life easier? please let me know.

Twink - why not take advantage of Fionn's kind offer (thank you Fionn )... i would offer my spare room, but you would be fighting for space with the osama-bin-laden apocalyptic terror strike supply of nappies, rice cakes and uht milk, outgrown clothes, ironing pile... the list goes on, you get the picture!

Fionn that's really kind of you, can I have a word with dh, do the sums and let you know on Sunday ? If I don't have to leave mid-evening (like last time !) it makes it feel like a 'real night out'

BK - I've already tried phoning them - 3 times and although they answer they can't find anyone who knows and always ask me to phone back. I will try again today. In all probability I will come because I can't bear to miss a party

I'm sorry, despite Fionn's offer I'm going to have to skip (it even costs even more to stay over !) 2 'significant' birthdays and a long distance wedding mean this months budget is in tatters.

lil, it's always possible that if you see us for real, that might stop you posting as much on the site (not that you post huge amounts anyway) so coming to the meetup might actually lessen your mumsnet addiction
