I am 27 with a 20 month old son - I live in Barnstaple, North Devon.

This is the first time I've been to this site & it would be great to hear from anyone who lives near me...

What sort of shoes are you after? White or....

Cream/ivory. I looked on ebay but either really really high or bit mucky!

I am sure it was recently, even might have been this weekend. I heard about it but could not find the thread. I am so not good at thread finding/keeping! The only ones I am any good are the bar, tea room and my post natal group, even then I am rubbish!

I am back at work too, 3.5 days a week. Been on phased return, then this week coming full hours. Its horrid isnt it? . Would much rather be at home gooing and gaaing!

I like doing something different to mummyhood but its a mad rush! Work are very target orientated now, everything logged etc so its full on from when I get in to when I leave.....did originally want two days but had to do 2.5 or wouldn't have been able to jobshare! Am hanging 24/7...mind you, I shouldn't really be on here should I, should be tucked up in bed!!

I just popped onto Ebay - saw a lovely pair of satin cream choos - looked in good condition too! Strappy types and pointed at front...can't do link as am blonde! lol!

me too. I am working 8-6 tomorrow, tuesday, 8-12:30pm wed and 8-5:30 on thurs . Got to get my clothes ready.

DP's job is like that, they tried to give him a discipline a while ago for being 'late' too many times, because he clocked into work at 7am! Paid no attention to him leaving at 2:35 instead of 2:30pm though! So he added up all the 2 mins late, 1 min late, and the getting in 2 mins early, leaving 10 mins late, and they owed him 1 hour once he minused them! He has to get in 10 mins early now just to shut em up. Crap.

Oh are there. I stopped looking a couple of weeks ago as I got fed up.

Its probably better I dont get them. I am getting married in a cave afterall, with a garden reception, probably need something a bit flatter than jimmy choos!!!

Glad you approved of my choice...they are yummy aren't they! Thing is, a cave will be quite dim so perhaps not the best place to showcase a pair of Choos.......hmm...trying to think....I know this sounds rather tack but BHS actually do a good range of cheap wedding shoes that look very good....its worth going for something flattish actually...when my sis got married, she wanted a certain type of shoe for the bridesmaids (i.e moi!) and I said ooh thats too high, if I match it really close, can I get a flatter pair, she agreed.

On the day, I was waltzing around pain free while the other bridesmaids were rubbing their feet!!

hi everyone enjoying the good weather .i went to crealy park with my lol on fri it was great except for getting very sunburnt ,i made sure my lol had lots of cream on but forgot myself how stupid now i look like a lobster .how many of u guys live in and around exeter do u know of any good groups as love to get my lol to meet other lols .

Hi mrsmopp and sighkotika - think we're destined to miss each otyher! I'm about 10 mins away from exeterand cheriton. Up for a meet up with either of you. There's a good toddler group out here that i take my youngest to (nearly 3 and 13mths).

ARGHHHH!!!!! Are we ever goung to be here at the sametime? When do you mumsnet - could try and get on at the same time. I'm free most days and i drive so no probs getting to Exeter or Cheriton.

I'm mainly on here in the morning, though I have been known to appear in the evenings too. I check in almost every day, though I rarely post anything lol.

.Fall of me chair emoticon . I used to live just outside cheriton, on the dunsford rd. Nearer to Exeter now but my oldest 2 are at Dunsford. Got a 9yr dd,7yrds,3yr ds and 1yrdd. Don't work and can drive so meet ups no probs.
