It's just me & my DD right now but I'm hopeful that other Plymouth mums will find us. I'm 32 yrs old, my girl is six months & we're ready to be sociable. Who else is? Looking forward to finding out

PavlovtheCat · 08/06/2009 21:20

aw he will be fine down the slide, honest, they have good balance at that age!

20 weeks! You got to bring him along if I come then. I love newborns!

Claire2009 · 08/06/2009 21:23

Why doesn't my Cat work? cries LOL

Seriously though I will def try to make it, have a lot on this week but will pop on and see how Weds is!

Ooogs, 4.5mths already thats gone so fast!

oooggs · 08/06/2009 21:25

pav - won't be long and you'll have your own to snuggle

yes claire - very very fast - I think its because I am also running around after the others too

19fran76 · 08/06/2009 21:26

Do come for a cuppa oooggs What time would suit you?

OP posts:
oooggs · 08/06/2009 21:29

10am would be good, before it gets busy? Or 1pm so I can still have a chat before heading back to Cornwall for the school run.

Whenever it fits around your lots sleep times. Ds3 is very portable!!!!

19fran76 · 08/06/2009 21:34

A vote for 10am here, like the idea of before busy. Anywhere called Jump that welcomes small children can only be crazyawfhell when busy, right?

OP posts:
oooggs · 08/06/2009 21:38

Well it opens at 10am and should be quietish and clean

19fran76 · 08/06/2009 21:45

That'll do nicely

OP posts:
Claire2009 · 08/06/2009 21:51

Will really try & make this

10am is a good time here too, it does mean I will have my wonderfully hectic occassionally tantrummy 2 & 3yo with me

PavlovtheCat · 08/06/2009 21:55

Does Jump ever get busy? It is huge.

10am is a real shit time for me . However, as I might not be there, do it for then, and if I can make it, I shall haul my sorry ass out the bathroom in time

Claire2009 · 08/06/2009 21:57

Jump gets really really headache in 2 mins busy

Not sure on a Weds though, it's not holidays so kids' will be at School, I've only ever been at weekends/holiday time.

anniemac72 · 09/06/2009 15:25

Hello everyone, I've just had a good laugh reading your thread and am wishing I was able to join you all tomorrow at Jump, but I'll be at my baby yoga class . My daughter's 9 months old and nagging me to be more sociable. Hope you all have fun - maybe we could join you next time?

19fran76 · 09/06/2009 18:19

Hi Anniemac, your DD is the same age as mine & I think it would be lovely to meet.

19fran76 · 09/06/2009 18:23

Right Oooggs & Claire are you still going tomorrow? (Think carefully before answering )

How will we recognise each other? Will we be the only ones there at 10am?

OP posts:
nevergoogledragonbutter · 09/06/2009 18:49

I really don't know if i can make it now.
I am off work tomorrow but we emptied our loft into our bedroom and now have to sleep in the living room.
I have tomorrow to sort it all into piles of ebay/charity/pack and bin.
I can't face running round jump as well.
Sorry.

19fran76 · 09/06/2009 19:14

That does sound temporarily hideous

Hi Fran, thanks for your message. It'd be great to meet up. The only tricky day for me is Wednesdays. Other than that I'm around quite a lot and promise not to stand you up! My DD only has half a tooth (I'm still giggling over your little one's 6 teeth as a means of recognising you!) I live in St Judes but have car, will travel!

oooggs · 09/06/2009 20:54

How about a different day next week?

PavlovtheCat · 09/06/2009 20:56

very very unlikely i will be there as i been throwing up all day today. Unlikely to be at work. If by some miracle i do make it, i will be the one shortish brown hair with dark copper streaks and bad roots! (getting them done tomorrow if i stop being sick), with clear framed glasses and an angelic looking, but very loud and fast almost 3 year old girl with blond hair desperate to get on the equipment! As yet i have no bump, well a small not really noticeable bump, due to the puking!

Shall i carry some fruitshoots and a greggs pasty bag to be sure you recognise me?

19fran76 · 09/06/2009 21:50

Sorry to hear that the sickness continues Pav .Like the mental image of all turning up waving aloft a pasty bag of choice. Mines an 'Ivor Dewdney' (he does late night pasty selling in our hood)

Anniemac, DD & I do a baby group over your way on Fridays. Perhaps we could meet afterwards one week? Maybe Freedom Fields park/Coffee on Mutley?

Oooggs, Claire are you up for tomorrow still?

19fran76 · 09/06/2009 21:54

P.S. Good Luck with the marathon sort tomorrow NGDB

OP posts:
Claire2009 · 09/06/2009 22:22

Sorry, I can't make it

I have to take the dog to the Vet.
Go Shopping for food - cupboards bare

I'll def be up for the next meet, So sorry!

19fran76 · 10/06/2009 08:16

O.K. thinking I should cancel myself, just have a faint worry that I might stand someone up No one's going, right?
