It's just me & my DD right now but I'm hopeful that other Plymouth mums will find us. I'm 32 yrs old, my girl is six months & we're ready to be sociable. Who else is? Looking forward to finding out

very impressive pav, i've managed to avoid hosting a kids party for the last 4 years. am hanging in there until he really really wants one.

PavlovtheCat · 07/06/2009 18:33

Unfortunately she really really wants one! But she does not know what it is exactly that she wants, other than party cups and a chocolate cake. So we thought, West Hoe Park, they provide the rides! Plenty of shade, chill out in the sun while some kids run wild. Balloons make it a party right ?

nevergoogledragonbutter · 07/06/2009 22:36

yes, balloons and cake and you're done.

19fran76 · 08/06/2009 08:45

How delightful it will all be Pav & thank you for the invite. I would usually gatecrash anything with the promise of cake but think DD & I may be away.

Away? Cancel. End of. Good that is sorted.

What time is the meetup on Weds? I might be able to duck out for half hour.

Claire2009 · 08/06/2009 13:49

Pavlov, I'd love to come I'll bring her a pressie and some nibbles too if you like?

I'll have 2 & 3yo Dd & Ds with me

PavlovtheCat · 08/06/2009 14:15

Claire - great as DD will be 3! You don't need to bring anything other than yourselves! Just let me know if there is anything the kids are allergic to so I can make sure I won't poison them!

Claire2009 · 08/06/2009 15:28

Great
I'll bring a pressie and some bits along

There's nothing they're allergic too

PavlovtheCat · 08/06/2009 18:14

Hopefully we will all get to meet up before then anyway. Its looking like I might be off for another couple of days as been poorly again, but wait and see. If I am and feeling up for it, will pop up to meet on Wednesday if some-one gives me time and location?

19fran76 · 08/06/2009 19:16

What's the forecast? Should we head to the Hoe?

OP posts:
Claire2009 · 08/06/2009 19:28

Haven't a clue on the Forecast! Will keep look out on the Weather on tv

PavlovtheCat · 08/06/2009 19:46

forecast for wednesday is rain. Not even a bit of sun is forecast but they do get it wrong these weather people !

PavlovtheCat · 08/06/2009 19:47

heavy rain

Claire2009 · 08/06/2009 19:52

Hmm

Perhaps Jump (indoor playcentre) if the weather is bad?

PavlovtheCat · 08/06/2009 19:58

If i am free ie not working and well enough jump would be grand for me. But make plans with all (the massive 3!) who are going and I will work around wherever you are and where I am. DD will love jump and I will be able to do nothing sit and relax a bit!

19fran76 · 08/06/2009 20:22

Sounds great, where the devil is it?

OP posts:
PavlovtheCat · 08/06/2009 20:24

It is near/in Christian Mill Business Park, Crownhill (just off the main drag heading towards Derriford)

19fran76 · 08/06/2009 20:36

O.K. but if I get stood up after having hauled my ass (& young DDs') over to Crownhill then I will be narked for sure (for those who are unsure: have only previously been narked for dramatic effect )

OP posts:
PavlovtheCat · 08/06/2009 20:40

I cannot promise to be there until tomorrow. If i am feeling shit, i will go to see him and am sure that jump will be a good respite seeing as having builders here mean no chance of that here! If i am well, will have to miss it due to work demanding i grace them with my presence from time to time

Claire2009 · 08/06/2009 20:41

You won't be stood up Fran.

If I can't make it - I'll def know tomorrow and will let you know also, should be able to make it!

PavlovtheCat · 08/06/2009 20:58

Fran - I just CAT you my mobile - you should get an email from me.
Claire - MN wont let me CAT you, so you can't have it

19fran76 · 08/06/2009 20:59

Pav you have the 'sick cat' (-that's a bilious face) exemption clause at your disposal.

Claire2009, I will wait 'til the morrow & should your answer still be 'aye I will formally Googlemap it (mark of serious commitment) .

What a thrill Pav, that's never happened to me before I will inspect my mail dreckly (or do they only say that in Kernow?)

OP posts:
oooggs · 08/06/2009 21:04

I only have the little one on Wednesdays, I don't think at 20 weeks he is up to Jump

Are you going morning or afternoon? I could pop in for a peaceful cuppa!!! I am only tied to the school runs

PavlovtheCat · 08/06/2009 21:11

ooggs you can still go along for a coffee? I am sure there are also some little baby matts he could crawl on and soft things to try and eat! And, if i go, i can coo over him!

Although I would be a little disappointed if you don't chuck him down a big wobbly slide at least once to see if he likes it
