Are there any welshies around? I live in Cardiff, although from Swindon and therefore am rather lacking in local family and friends !!! Anyway just wondered if anyone fancied a chance to meet or somewhat!

Yes the soft play at the Centre, will try and take my lo there this week, I think its on two days a week, will try and find out the times to take him, as he is so energetic and I think would love it.

Music group is held on Thursdays between 10-11, 2 different classes, you would probably want the older class which I think starts at 10. Also there is a Music group at High Cross, begins on Sept 9th Friday at 10.30am, you just go along with both children they are really friendly.

the newport centre one is on a tues and a thurs as far as i remember. there is a morning session and an afternoon session.

That is ever so nice, I have CAT you about the general meet up, so you will have my email address (probably by tomorrow). We could always meet up next week.

Where abouts are you originally from ?, as I am not Wales, originally from Glos. (Forest), also lived in Surrey, and near Tewkesbury.

i will have to find out where exactly that is in High Cross. could take my younger one as my older one will be in playgroup. oh no, i feel bad though as my ds has not been to a music class. i should stop babbling.

i have been living in cwmbran for 11 years. moved in with dh about 5 years ago. originally from somewhere in surrey i think. mum gets very confused with where i was born! ha ha

Sorry had a few days off mumsnet getting too addicted!

I'd love to join you for a meet up? Anywhere you mentioned would bo tbh, I have a car as dh works nights.

If dh is off the day we meet I won't bring ds1, but if not I warn you he has Aspergers and will probably be a little Angel but I cannot guarantee this. DS2 and 3 love meeting new people though, would love it.

Had an email back from one mum, said Tuesdays aren't good, the Baby Cafe in Newport is open on Tuesdays, so we shall rule that one out.

It is therefore the choice of Tredegar Park or Roath Park, I personally prefer Tredegar Park as live in Newport, but up to other mums. Are giving the choice.

w/c 25/07/05. Morning time is best for me. What about Friday of that week, 10am, let me know. Unless anyone else has any other suggestions.

Looking at Friday 29th July, at Tredegar House Park at 10am.

Is this okay for all Welsh mums, havent been able to CAT everyone concerned, so just reply back on this posting if it is okay.

Had an email from PeachyClair, said that Friday 29th July at 10am at Tredegar House Park was fine for her.

Shall we fix this as the day, posted tonight to see if there were any other Welsh mums out there, doesn't appear to be any tonight !!

they have fallen off the face of the earth. there were quite a few on the bottom of this link up for meeting up but i understand it didn't happen and i had a few on one of my links. very strange!

I think that some mums were interested like you said about meeting up a while ago and because it didn't take place, havent really shown an interest in these new links.

Well keep bumping the thread until we get a few more to come along, there is only 3 of us at the moment.

Thats fine, but we will give other opportunities to other mums in Wales

I'm a Welsh Mum but I'm in mid Wales and can't make this meet up, I'm sorry. We had a mid Wales meet up last year with just the two of us who live here, so it can be done even with very few people. I hope you have a good time!
