Are there any welshies around? I live in Cardiff, although from Swindon and therefore am rather lacking in local family and friends !!! Anyway just wondered if anyone fancied a chance to meet or somewhat!

Sorry, haven't looked at this thread for ages, went to Tred. Park two weeks ago, looks like there is a cafe area outside in the park but looks like it is closed until the Summer time. However, I believe that there is a cafe inside Tred house, been ages since I properly went into the house. I feel really awful, that I don't know if there is a cafe or not, its one of my nearest parks and I haven't a clue. Is it okay for anyone to come along on the meet up ?

I live just by Tredegar Park and tbh I don't think there is a cafe open, not til the summer anyway. Soz girls.

(Roath Park has a cafe).

ds has vaccinations on 13th. 3rd ones so hoping he won't be too much of a grumpy pants afterwards. have decided the fresh air will do him good and i can always come home if he's not well - so count me in.

i'm gonna be difficult and say I prefer afternoon!! We do Musical Playtimes on a Friday Morning till 20 past 11 - guess i couldb e there by bout 11.45 tho. But I guess we're never gonna find a time that is perfect for everyone!

um... could try roath park in cardiff, or comeston lakes at penarth, or........ am racking my brains trying to think of somewhere. Or we could just go somewhere like cafe junior so dont have to worry about weather at all.....

Oh, don't worry about me, it was only a suggestion about the bad weather. No stick to Tredegar Park, if others want the afternoon meet up, then go ahead. I will try and make it, might have sorted out my lo sleep during the daytime by then !

Just thinking of others really, especially if it pours down.

Yeah - have been on hols so was worried i'd missed the big meet up but looks like it nver got off the ground - so shall we say next week I dont know perhaps monday???? think its the 23rd.

Moved to newport (well, Caerleon) a few weeks ago from Bridgwater so also don't know anyone (though the locals are v v friendly )
