Are there any welshies around? I live in Cardiff, although from Swindon and therefore am rather lacking in local family and friends !!! Anyway just wondered if anyone fancied a chance to meet or somewhat!

What about Baby Cafe in Newport, or possibly Tredegar House Park, somewhere in Caerleon (would be quite nice ??)

Heard alot about Baby Cafe, its in the Metro Centre, pretty close to the Newport pool, near to the back of Kingsway, they open up apparently for the whole of Tuesday I think for mums to sit and have coffee etc. apparently.!!! Havent been but itching to go and see what it is like.

Also, read earlier thread about Cardiff meetup, Cardiff might be okay for some mums to meet up in ??

yes that would be fab. i have replied to some mums that have sent me messages on the meet up threads, just waiting for them to reply. i sent a message to you i think. i clicked on the contact another talker link and filled it in. did it work as i don't know what i am doing!

Shall I email the others mums and suggest a couple of places to meet:-

Metro Centre in Newport
Tredegar House in Newport
Roath Park in Cardiff

Anywhere else you can think off to meet and suggest ??

What about suggesting a day in a fortnights time to the other mums ?

I think that it might be a bit soon for next week, I will try and email the other mumsnetter and CAT them I have made a list of the others that posted on the Wales thread and will try and contact them.

If we said in a fortnights time it might mean that we can try and reach all the mums in the local area and that they might be able to try and respond in time. I think that next week would be too short notice.

Sorry been CATing everyone, CAT about 7 mnetter including you, that have posted on meetup thread, will try and put another thread up for meetups, try tomorrow morning, to try and catch any other mums nearby that we might have missed.
