SATURDAY THE 16TH OF JULY, in Manchester.

At the moment we are thinking family friendly picnic at Heaton Park and then a girls night out, we haven't got the evening and hotel sorted yet but we will soon! It would be great if you could say if you're planning on coming to the daytime picnic and or the evening things!

is it with or without partners? sorry haven't been following the main thread

Newbarnsleygirl · 13/04/2005 09:26

Well you know I'm coming!

ootslooJ · 13/04/2005 09:26

Yup! probably just the picnic though

ootslooJ · 13/04/2005 09:26

thats JoolsToo btw!

Newbarnsleygirl · 13/04/2005 09:26

Without I think Katzgutz.

flashingnose · 13/04/2005 09:30

I'm confused - what do we do with the kids in the evening?

FastasleepTheInsomniac · 13/04/2005 09:36

In the evening we should be having a meal and entertainment in a hotel so you could bring your shildren for the meal and then pack them off to bed? Someone decided to change my plans though so we're not 100% sorted on the evening side of things!

For those who want to or have to bring kids can do so as we're having the picnic and then those who are staying over or want the meal can do that.

marthamoo · 13/04/2005 09:40

I think I can. I would like to do all of it - would probably get dh to come with the kids for the daytime bit and then he could take them home and I stay for the no-kids bit. Don't know if I can justify the cost of an overnight stay - though I would have to get a taxi if I went home and that would cost an arm and a leg. How much is a night in a Travel Lodge?

JoolsToo · 13/04/2005 09:41

haven't you got a spare arm and leg?

Newbarnsleygirl · 13/04/2005 09:43

Ooohh I might do that as well.

marthamoo · 13/04/2005 09:45

I could have a look, JT. Probably have them in the loft or the cupboard under the stairs.

fairyfly · 13/04/2005 09:46

So nice of you all to celebrate my birthday in my home town

FastasleepTheInsomniac · 13/04/2005 09:49

You can send an online event enquiry...you need number of guests and a vague sort of budget idea..

lilibet · 13/04/2005 12:32

katzguk · 13/04/2005 13:08

probably for the picnic but would prefer to bring DH with me as mu new baby could be as little as 4 weeks old and don't fancy her plus DD(2) on the train

anorak · 13/04/2005 13:35

I might be able to. I'd like to

JoolsToo · 13/04/2005 13:37

please wear an anorak for recognition purposes

I shall be toting the Daily Mail (double)

NomDePlume · 13/04/2005 13:37

I'd love to come ! Any excuse to go home for a few hours. I doubt I'd be bringing DD though and would probably only stay for the picnic. I know we're off on holiday abroad around that time, so as long as the dates don't, consider me signed !

mummytosteven · 13/04/2005 13:38

I think that partners/kids/grannies etc should be welcome as this is a family website, after all.

Gobbledigook · 13/04/2005 13:39

Me

NomDePlume · 13/04/2005 13:40

I assume we'll each bring something to the picnic ?

dyzzidi · 13/04/2005 13:44

Me too although don't have kids so will maybe steal one for the picnic!!!!

I'm local though so don't need accomodation (just in case you need numbers).
