The lady in the post office said there were a few flakes up in Stanley yesterday but nothing here...yet!

Pinderfields A&E had 78 admissions in a four hour spell today, we have been over run with broken limbs and our ward do not normally have ortho patients on, it has been bloody mad but hardly suprising given the weather first thing!!! Every entry on A&E said FALL !!!

Has anyone heard from Hiccy in the last couple of days? Maybe she'll be back soon with some news

Nope im a acute care facilitator on the Acute Assessment Unit, i basically go on the ward round with the consultant then make sure patients get procedures followed up such as CT scans and bloods, its a whole new thing for me and i only started 5 weeks ago after 5yrs as a SAHM but it is good and im learning alot such as doing ECG's and Blood pressure oxygen sats etc....

No baby news yet, i've been preoccupied the last couple of days with monsterchops being poorly again Had to take him to the doctors yesterday, he's got an ear, nose and throat infection

Throttle, i didn't get a message. On saying that though, i got one from Wot yesterday morning asking me what time to come last Friday!!! Didn't think there was any point answering now Wot I think Ryhill's like living in the twilight zone sometimes with phones, and we had loads of snow yesterday morning!

Nope i was a medical records clerk, this is sort of admin mixed with health care assistant and general dogs body but tbh the money scale im on is very good and im doing 20hrs over 2 long days so its working out brilliantly so far thankfully!!!

Wakefield is a black hole with the snow, it sort of goes around us, weird!!!

If i'd known how much you liked it Wot i'd have texted, as it was i just wanted it to stop before i had to drive in it! I don't drive in snow!

If I'd have known that, Wakey, I wouldn't have moved here Snow was one of the main reasons for moving north

Ds is dressed but I'm not. Technically, I'm off sick from work, so does that entitle me to be in my pjs?
