Yeah good. I even caught the sun today!

Did you know there is a mini-railway in Thornes Park? Dennis nearly exploded with excitement!

Phoenix · 29/03/2009 19:46

Yes it's been there years, i used to go on it as a kid

OP posts:
wotulookinat · 29/03/2009 19:55

Really? It's fab.
We had no idea that it was there.

Phoenix · 29/03/2009 20:09

The one just by the swings and slides bit?

Oooh dh has let me book a 4d scan, i'm so excited. It's in 3wks time so i should know if the 20wk scan was right and i get my little Noah or i will have time to get my head round it been a girl

OP posts:
wotulookinat · 29/03/2009 20:51

Yes that's the one.
Cool! Someone I know had a 4d scan and it was amazing!

Phoenix · 01/04/2009 19:53

God where is everyone off this thread?

OP posts:
wotulookinat · 01/04/2009 20:47

I'm here - I didn't want to start talking to myself!
Knickers is off MN for a while.

Phoenix · 02/04/2009 09:03

Sorry i went to bed at half 8. Dh was watching football and i was knackered.

Don't know what's happening but have seen bits on Facebook so guessed knickers was taking a break. Hope they're all ok.

How are you doing? I'm still working and doing ok (4wks left after tomorrow ) I'm not at leeds anymore either, thank god cos that was so boring, i'm at Dewsbury working in the office where people come to collect parcels. It's so much better than leeds and is pretty quiet too so am just sat down waiting for customers most of the day and i get finished a bit earlier too so good all round .

OP posts:
wotulookinat · 02/04/2009 09:26

Good news about your work I hope the 4 weeks passes quickly for you. Have you decided on any names yet?

Phoenix · 02/04/2009 10:12

Def Noah if it is a boy. Dh prefers Rhys. I did like it but gone of it, so i've compromised on Noah Rhys but i'm not 100% on Rhys still but as long as i get my way with Noah i can't really argue

Absolutely no clue for a girl. I just don't like any. We didn't really have a girls name in line in case Lewis was a girl

OP posts:
wotulookinat · 02/04/2009 12:06

I like Noah
I have my baby name book to hand and I'll suggest one girls name a day for you! How about Eve or Evelyn?

Phoenix · 02/04/2009 20:24

I've got 4 baby name books lol

I'll think about girl names more if i really need to, that's why i neeeeeeeeed to know the babys sex

OP posts:
wotulookinat · 02/04/2009 21:08

Lol did you find out the sex with Lewis?

Phoenix · 02/04/2009 21:17

No we didn't he was a surprise.

OP posts:
wotulookinat · 03/04/2009 10:30

How about Carys for a girl's name?

Phoenix · 03/04/2009 19:26

Don't think so with our surname

OP posts:
wotulookinat · 04/04/2009 10:14

Oh yes, I see what you mean. How about Melanie?

Phoenix · 04/04/2009 17:33

Erm no don't like.

OP posts:
wotulookinat · 05/04/2009 10:58

How about Rebecca?

hiccymapops · 05/04/2009 14:14

Hiya everyone

Haven't been on for a bit as Ben's poorly again, so i've been a bit stressed. I should've expected it, i took him to 4 playcentres the week before, so i should have taken it as a given he'd catch something

Hope you're all okay.

Good news about the scan Phoenix I'd have had to have another if we couldn't find out. If it's a boy i've got tons of clothes, most of which haven't been worn (i always go overboard on cute clothes) if you want them. Ben was born in July, so i've got loads of cute summer outfits he never wore (with his reflux, he just lived in sleepsuits, they were easier to keep changing!) Let me know if you want them, cause i've just boxed them up as we've decided we've definately finished on the baby making front

My friend had a little girl on Thursday She's called her Amy, which is quite a coincidence as her boy's called Ben, and if we'd had a girl, it was either Amy or Beth for us, we must have the same taste in names

Anyone got any nice plans for Easter? My mum and dad are coming up again, dad's helping Mark with the drive, and me and mum are escaping with the tiddlers

Hope everyone's having a good weekend

wotulookinat · 05/04/2009 14:19

Oh poor Ben - what's he got?
My parents and my niece are coming up for Easter.

hiccymapops · 05/04/2009 14:27

Hiya Wot

He's just got a really bad cold, but he's lost his voice a bit, and keeps getting a temperature and being sick. It's the worst one he's had, but i'm hoping it's going to start getting better now as he started with it midweek. Poor little mite's constipated too, too much information i know, but he cried his little eye's out the last time he had a poo, and he hasn't been for a couple of days again, so i'm shoving fruit purees down him!

How are you all doing? I'm presuming you'll be offline with guests in your computer room

wotulookinat · 05/04/2009 15:49

That sounds bad. Poor thing.
Yes, I shall be offline at the weekend, but I'll try and pop on during the week after, but it won't be as much as usual. My phone is working though and shouldn't be cut off for a while again!!!!
We've had a super clear out today and got rid of loads on Freecycle.

Phoenix · 05/04/2009 17:04

Hi Hiccy and Wot

That's funny, the only name we had for if Lewis had been a girl is Amy Jo. Even funnier he has an Amy-Jo in his pre-school and he brought one of her pictures home the other week.

I might just take you up on that if i have a boy Hiccy, but saying that i've been to 2 NCT nearly new sales and bought some outfits on Ebay (i'll be in trouble if it is a girl cos i've bought all boy stuff.) so i may have enough. Let me know how much you want for the stuff if i am having a boy and i'll have them

for poorly Ben, hope Luke doesn't pick it up too.

for clear out Wot, it makes you feel so much better doesn't it?

Dh is on nights tonight so i'll be on here bored no doubt

OP posts:
hiccymapops · 05/04/2009 17:59

I don't want anything for the clothes Phoenix, i wasn't sure what to do with them because like i said most of it hasn't been worn but i couldn't return it because i take tags off stuff and wash it as soon as i buy it. We were thinking of taking it to a charity shop, but i'd rather it go to someone i know cause i'm sentimental like that

That's strange about the Amy-jo thing.
