Just been offered a job in Wakefield today, moving up end of August from the South Coast, just me and my two year old boy....feeling nervous, and excited, and scared, the list goes on!

Phoenix, my job is training to be a sonographer actually so hopefully I will be a better baby sexer than the one you had
Perhaps you guys will be able to tell me good areas to live as well??? I'm using the nursery at the Pinderfields hospital so only really want to be about 10 mins drive from there I guess?

Hiya Muffins. I moved with my partner and our son, who is now nearly 2 and a half. And the dog!
We live right by Pinderfields, in Pinders Heath. There are lots of houses up to let in the area, and it's a short walk to the hospital.
Stanley and Outwood are near to the hospital, and they are both nice areas too. Stanley has a lovely children's centre too.

I've got 2 boys, Ben who's 2, and Luke who's 3 months.

A friend of mine works at Pinderfields, and her little girl is in the nursery there, has been for 2 years now and she loves it

Phoenix my friend is due next week, and hers is a surprise too, because they couldn't tell on the scan. It'll be nice for the it's a boy/girl moment though

The rough idea they gave us is a boy. I've really got it into my head that it's a boy and think i'll be quite dissappointed now if it's a girl . We've got a name for him and everything, even ds knows the name i've picked (dh still prefers another name more but i'll get my way ) I've even bought some boys clothes off Ebay and an NCT sale.

Muffin - The baby was lying right under my bellybutton so that is why they couldn't get a clear view. The sound wave things don't go through the belly button, but you'll prob know that.

I'd just got dh to agree to us getting a 4d scan to find out the sex for def and my laptop has gone and broke (told you it was on its way out) so that money has to go to a laptop now. Ah well i'll have to wait til baby is born to know for def

Just turned his camera on, and apparently he's not asleep yet, we have a little concert going on upstairs, i can sing a rainbow, incy wincy spider, and jingle bells - daddy smells (mummy's homemade version )

Ha ha at your Jingle Bells! Dennis fell asleep in the pushchair on the way back, so I went round the back into the garden. I intended to try and carry him upstairs and put him into bed, but the fence man, who could see Dennis was asleep, chose that moment to use an electric saw 2 metres away. I now have a grumpy and awake Dennis.
